Subject: Placement Position

Hello,

I am a second year child and youth care student at Algonquin College. I am emailing you today because
my Program Coordinator Sandra Edwards informed me that Community Living Upper Ottawa valley has
positions for third year placement students and after researching your organization, I’m interested in
what your organization does.

My Program Coordinator informed me that I am allowed to work 30 total hours for a period of 4 weeks
between April 3 and April 28 2023. Due to my school schedule, I am available all day on Mondays,
Thursdays & Friday. I am also available on Wednesday from 8 AM- 1 PM. I can also work during the
weekend if and when you need assistance.

I believe I could be a good fit for this position because I am able to create and run programs that would
be beneficial for everyone accessing the service. I am also able to engage youth and help them when
needed. My objective is to assist you in everything necessary to run the organization smoothly. It would
be my pleasure to participate in activities with youth such as playing basketball or a game of Kahoot. I
am looking forward to discussing my qualifications with you. I would love to ask for an in person meeting
