Project Committee Rules of Governance, May 2012

The National BIM Standard-United States® Version 3 (NBIMS-US™ V3) consensus process was
governed by the April 2013 NBIMS-US Project Committee Rules of Governance (ROG).

The purpose of the ROG is to establish the rules and procedures governing the consensus standards
development of the NBIMS-US Project Committee (PC), a project of the buildingSMART alliance®. The
articles of the ROG give the PC the power to establish standing subcommittees and workgroups to
support the update and development of the NBIMS-US™.
