PROJECT SCOPE AND OBJECTIVES

The Uber Expansion project aims to expand the Uber


ride-sharing platform into 5 new cities across 3 different
continents. The project will require the establishment of

Mitigation Plan: Conduct thorough regulatory
research and establish relationships with local
government officials to ensure compliance with all
applicable laws and regulations.
2) Risk 2: Difficulty in finding suitable local
transportation partners. Mitigation Plan: Cast a
wide net during the partner selection process and
prioritize partners with established reputations
and resources in each target city.
3) Risk 3: Insufficient driver recruitment and training.
Mitigation Plan: Implement a comprehensive
training program for new drivers, provide ongoing
support and incentives, and offer competitive
compensation and benefits packages.
4) Risk 4: Technical difficulties during
implementation. Mitigation Plan: Thoroughly test
all new features and services prior to launch,
establish a dedicated team to monitor and
troubleshoot any technical issues, and have
contingency plans in place to address any
potential downtime or system failures.
5) Risk 5: Failure to meet marketing and promotional
goals. Mitigation Plan: Develop a comprehensive
marketing and promotional strategy with clear
goals and metrics, and establish a dedicated team
to oversee and monitor all campaigns.
Continuously monitor and adjust the strategy
based on customer feedback and market trends.
