It contains 7641 islands, making it one of the world's


largest archipelagos comprising of 2000 inhabited islands spanning from white beaches to underground rivers to
mountains and hills. It is indeed a place for adventure and exploration. Philippines beaches are a great resource of
the country's tourism industry. The Department of Tourism campaign “It's more fun in the Philippines” often highlights
the beauty of the beaches and islands of the archipelago. Promoting island life enticing both international and
domestic tourists. The Philippines is a beautiful travel destination and it's no surprise that it's becoming a popular
destination for digital nomads or people who work remotely who does not want a beach view while working right.

Medan Island, commonly known as White Island, is an uninhabited island located in the
region of Northern Mindanao. It is composed of pure white sands that make up a

Batan Islands, also called “Batanes Islands” is known as the home of the winds
because of its weather that is both serene and windy. It is located north of Luzon in the

to come and experience it themselves. Batanes is made up of ten small islands but only

beaches in Batanes, Morong beach has softer waves making it safer for tourists to
swim. Basco lighthouse is a must-visit tourist spot too in Batan. In 2019 there were
45,419 tourists who visited Batanes. Only few tourists visit Batanes because of its
location and the airfare is significantly higher than the usual domestic fares. What
makes Batan, Batanes a top destination is it offers tourist peace and tranquility. Batanes
is usually described as the New Zealand of the Philippines by the Tourist despite their

shut the island down for six months to allow environmental rehabilitation to improve its
ecological sustainability. It was reopened and in pre-pandemic 2019. Boracay was
among the top tourist destinations and had recorded 2 million 34,599 tourists since it
gradually reopened in june 2020. The high rate of tourists increased again.

Puerto Princesa, famously known as the city of forest is a first-class highly urbanized
city in the province of Palawan in the western Philippines. The Puerto Princesa
subterranean river national park also known as the underground river is the most
recognized destination in Palawan which is a UNESCO world heritage site and holds a
place in the new seven wonders of nature. Puerto Princesa is rich in historical sites
lagoons islands and beaches and its crystal blue waters. It has been recognized as the
cleanest and greenest city of the Philippines. Many activities are also available such as
visiting Palawan’s underground river, island hopping relaxing on Palawan beaches and
snorkeling. They had gathered for at least 1.2 million tourists in 2019 before it had
decreased by 80 percent because of the Pandemic. Nonetheless, Palawan is still under
restrictions but are expected to reopen tourism again this year.

Best Island in the Philippines, Coron, Palawan. It is also a tropical island in the province
of Palawan, famous for its crystal clear freshwater lakes shallow water coral reefs
limestone landscapes and beautiful beaches. It's one of the best dive destinations in the
Philippines and known for world-class World War II era wreck diving. A fleet of World
War II wreck sunk by the US Navy in 1944 can be found in the surrounding waters. It is
truly an adventure and trip back to history. Coron is a separate group of islands from the
main Palawan Island. Coron's town is smaller and quieter than El Nido's. Coron had a
total of 292,546 tourists pre-pandemic in 2019. Other tourists tend to put Coron in their
itinerary islands and El Nido and Puerto Princesa when visiting Palawan. Coron also
has its uniqueness and beauty other than El Nido’s and Puerto Princesa’s attractions.
The famous twin lagoon is one of Coron's Pride. It is one of the most well-known tourist
destinations in the Philippines. The twin lagoon comprises two lakes divided by a
limestone rock that contains both fresh and salt water making it ideal for swimming
snorkeling and scuba diving. Lake Kayangan is also one of the most visited and
photographed locations in Coron. It is accompanied by lush limestone cliffs and Coron's
crystal clear fresh waters and it has been considered the cleanest lake in the
Philippines.
