It was Friday afternoon when I came to my home after I finished my last exam we all ate
lunch and we get ready to go for our 4 days’ trip to Tiruchendur. My grandfather, grandmother,
father, mother, brother and myself all were prepared to board the train. My father booked 2 autos’
and we all went to railway station. The name of the train was Tiruchendur express. Fortunately, the
train was in 3rd platform we all boarded the train easily. After sometime, a small family boarded the
train opposite to our seats. Me and my brother started to eat our snacks before the train departed
from the railway station we shared it with the small girl she was studying 2 nd standard who was in
the small family. At, 4:00 pm they started the train. After sometime, I went to my seat it was in the
same coach but different compartment and I charged my tab to watch the downloaded movies. Near
6:00 pm me and my brother started to watch movies in tab. There was a fight between me and my
brother that who will watch first. Then, my brother started to watch his movie name paw patrol and
his movie got over by 8:30 pm and as I started to watch my movie Pinocchio my father called us to
eat our dinner. My grandmother packed food for our journey at home. We ate and came to upper
berth to continue my movie. At 10:30 pm my movie got over and we started to play with the little
girl and at 11:30 pm we all slept.

Saturday, 1st October 2022

At 8:00 am me and my brother woke up and we brushed our teeth in the train itself. And by
8:30 am train arrived at Tiruchendur we all got down the train the small family went to Tiruchendur
Murugan Temple and my father called a share auto and we all went to Alanthalai, Saints Peter and
Paul's Church there were many rooms in the church for tourists. All rooms were fully occupied and
finally we got TSS house 2nd room it was big and sufficient for our 6 members. One uncle came to our
room to ask what fish to buy my father said some fish without more bones in fish. After that uncle
went I asked him who is he my father said that his wife will be cooking for us in Alanthalai. After
sometime me and my brother went to play near the sand in the church while playing our father took
us to the beach in Alanthalai me and my brother started to play in water as well as we collected
shells in beach. After sometime our mother called to come to the room to have our breakfast we all
went to the room to have our breakfast after we had our breakfast. After sometime we all dressed
up and went to 12:00 am mass in the church after the mass we went to the parish priest to get
blessings and we went to our room. At 1:30 pm that aunty who cooks food for us came and gave
lunch. We all ate and except me and my brother everyone slept. We both went to play in the sand
near the church. After sometime we went to our room and we started to ask our mom that can we
watch the movie in tab and our mom gave permission to watch movie we watch for some time and
our father woke up and scolded us not to watch movie and we all dressed up and a red colour
minivan came to pick up us our dad told the driver uncle to stop at a nice tea shop to have tea.
Everyone in our family had tea but me and my brother brought soft drinks my brother brought
mountain dew and I brought limca. My grandfather had bhaji coping that I also brought bhaji and
went to van to share with my mom and my grandmother they ate it and finished it I brought 2 nd
plate that one also they finished and I brought 3 rd plate and ate myself. After we had finished our
evening snacks we all went to manapad, Holy Cross Church. It was in the top of a mountain we went
and prayed for some time and we went down the mountain to St. Francis Xavier cave were my
brother broke his thigh bone before 3 years on the way down the mountain to the cave. We prayed
and came to the van and the driver uncle took us to the manapad beach me and my brother played
in the water and after sometime we both changed the dresses what we were wearing before. After
we changed the dress there were many sea food stalls and my father ordered 1 plate of crab, 1 plate
of prawns and 2 plate of bread omelette we ate and we went to the minivan the driver uncle went in
search of us after 2 minutes the driver came and we all came back to Alanthalai to our room and
aunty came and gave dinner we all ate dinner and me and my grandfather went for a walk and came
by 10:00 pm and we all slept. Me, my father, my mother and my grandfather slept on the floor and
my brother and my grandmother slept in bed.

Sunday, 2nd October 2022

We all went to 7:00 am mass and came to our room and ate breakfast and the same red
colour minivan came to pick up us to Uvari. We stopped at the same tea shop and brought tea and
coffee. Me and my brother brought some chips and soft drinks. We also brought kulfi we ate and we
went to manapad to St. James Church we prayed and we went to uvari to St. Antony's Major Shrine.
After praying there was beach near church we went there and took photos and there was a sharbat
shop we all drank it and we went to Selva Matha Church it was like a ship on top of that there was an
aeroplane we prayed and we had our snacks. On our way back to Alanthalai we went to 2 churches
first we went to Athisaya Manal Matha Shrine we prayed and brought panam kalkandu and
karupatti. We went to Thirukalyana Matha Shrine and we came back to Alanthalai and we had our
lunch. Me and my brother went to play. At 4:00 pm me, my father, my mother and my brother went
to beach to play in water we played for 1½ hours. There were many big stones kept on top of the sea
to prevent waves we walked on the stones to the tip and we came back to shore as we were walking
back to the room my grandfather was coming to beach we went to our room we had coffee and we
dressed up and we all went to church to pray family rosary and we came to our room and aunty
came and gave dinner we all ate. Me my brother and grandfather went for walking and we came to
room. My father, mother, grandfather grandmother started to play cards. Me and my brother was
watching them how they were playing and at 11:00 pm we all slept.

Monday, 3rd October 2022

My father, mother and grandfather went to 6:00 am mass. My grandmother saw mass from
the room itself because me and my brother were sleeping. After the mass my father and mother
woke up us and we dressed up. We all went to Alanthalai beach to buy fish in auction. Meanwhile
me and my brother was playing in the beach trying to catch small fish and collecting shells. After
cutting the fish we gave it to the aunty who cooks food for us. After some time Jeffrin uncle came to
visit us he helped us to take my brother to hospital when he broke his thigh bone and he also took
my father, mother and brother to Madurai to board aeroplane to come fast to Chennai. We told him
to book a car for us to travel to Thoothukudi. He also booked a car. And after he went another uncle
named Anthony Raja he has a travels he also came to visit us. He gave nice lecture about church and
holy water and prayer. At 12:00 noon We went to church to pray fortunately there was mass we
attended it we went to parish priest to get blessings and tell him that we are leaving today. After
that we went to shrine depot to buy statues, keychains, dollar and photo. We all came to our room
and we had our lunch and vacated our room and the car which Jeffrin uncle booked has came by
1:00 pm. We All kept our luggage at back of the car and we went to Thoothukudi, Basilica of Our
Lady of Snows we all prayed and my father went to some bakery and brought some macarons, rusks,
cakes and coconut bun. My father came after few minutes and we departed my father told to stop in
a nice tea shop and the driver anna stopped in a shop were me and my brother brought fruit juices
and other’s brought tea, coffee and mushroom roll. I brought pomegranate juice and my brother
brought orange juice and there were statues of elephant and bull me and my brother took photos.
Then we returned to Tiruchendur, Amali Annai shrine we prayed and we came to Tiruchendur
railway station. My father booked first AC coach everyone was shocked especially me and my
brother. When we came to railway station the train’s door of AC coaches were locked. After
sometime me and my father went out of the station to buy dinner. We brought 6 chapattis’, 6
omelette, 1 pepper chicken, 1 chicken lollipop, idly and rava dosa. On our way back me and my
father drank soda sharbat and we went to railway station my mother, brother, grandfather and
grandmother had gone inside the train we also went inside the train. Our grandfather was not lucky
because he has some work in Sivagangai so he has to get down in Madurai. After sometime the train
departed from the station. My father ordered warps in faasos to buy in Tirunelveli station. When we
reached Tirunelveli station my father called the delivery uncle to ask where he is, he said that he
came to the station me and my father searched for that uncle but he was just opposite to the coach
door we found him and he told that he gave already me and my father went inside the cabin and
asked my mom she said that he gave then I came outside and told thank you and he went then all of
them in my family started eating. My grandfather already ate and he went to his cabin and he slept.
After eating me and my brother started to watch movies in our tab first my brother watched and
then I watched. Then at 12:00 midnight Madurai arrived we sent off my grandfather and I went to
his cabin and slept when I closed my eyes then few minutes my brother is coming and waking me.
Then I woke up and saw that time was 9:00 am. My sleep was sound and silent and I slept nicely.

Tuesday, 4th October 2022

We all brushed our teeth and we kept our luggage ready to get down the train when the
station arrives. By 10:30 am the train arrived Chennai Egmore railway station and we got down and
we went to Saravana Bhavan and we had our morning breakfast. My father gave a shock that today
afternoon we are going to the movie “Ponniyin Selvan”.

And, finally my four days’ trip to Tiruchendur ended with joy and a movie.
