The types of variables required to calculate the base income and operating revenues and expenses for a
business operation should be entered in the Occupancy and Rates tab. The Operated Asset Profile requires
a variable type entry as a page in a notebook. Variable types are as follows:
Available Units This is used to specify the number of units available per month.
The daily rate charged for occupancy of the unit. To calculate the monthly
charge, ARGUS Developer multiplies the daily rate by the number of days

in each month. From month to month, the number of day’s changes and
this is reflected in the calculation.
The weekly rate charged for occupancy of the unit. To calculate the
monthly charge, ARGUS Developer multiplies the weekly rate by the
Average Weekly Rates number of weeks in the month. This is done by dividing the number of days
in each month by 7. From month to month, the number of day’s changes
and this is reflected in the calculation.
Monthly Rates The monthly rate charged for occupancy of the unit.
Used where calculations are based on the number of times per day an

multiplies the daily activities by the number of days in the month.
