How does Globalization can Threaten our Native Culture

Globalization opened-up a lot of whole new opportunities to developing countries. Treaties,

partnerships, alliances, and huge trades are made through this. Globalization kept on developing and
reaching other countries throughout the century. Globalization seems like all the world has to offer to
every country, but just like any other things, globalization has its cons.

Due to the huge influence and spread of globalization, native cultures are also affected by its
change. Many traditional stuffs and belief systems are being transformed. Some are being retained
while some are completely forgotten. Many traditional and ancient norms are lost due to the
advancement of the community in many aspects. Many changes happened since the spread of
globalization. Beliefs, changing work ethics, and work rhythms are affected too. Culture, being a way of
life for humans, is always changing. Certain advances in modern times have aided in the exponential
acceleration of this transformation process, which has two important repercussions.

Even with the huge influence of globalization, we can do some ways to retain, preserve, or
protect our native culture. One way is for the government or even local communities to teach newer
generations regarding to their culture. The Government can also make new bills to protect indigenous
people from maltreatment from outsiders who wants to take advantage of the low cost pay of native
workers.
