SCHOOL GOVERNANCE COUNCIL RESOLUTION

ON
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF DEPED PROJECTS,
PROGRAMS, AND ACTIVITIES

WHEREAS, the School Governance Council recognizes the importance of providing high-
quality projects, programs, and activities to enhance the overall learning experience and
development of students;

WHEREAS, the Department of Education plays a vital role in shaping the educational
landscape of our nation and is responsible for implementing various initiatives to promote
educational excellence;

WHEREAS, essential for the School Governance Council to contribute to the

improvement of the quality of Deped programs, projects and activities by providing
valuable recommendations based o our knowledge and expertise;

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT:

1. The School Governance Council endorses the following recommendations to

enhance the quality of Deped projects, programs, and Activities:
a. Strengthening Curriculum Design: encourage interdisciplinary approaches
to learning to foster holistic understanding and critical thinking skills.
b. Professional development for Educators: provide comprehensive and
ongoing professional development opportunities for teachers and
administrators to enhance their pedagogical skills, subject knowledge, and
classroom management strategies.
c. Engaging stakeholders: Establish a feedback mechanism to gather input
from students, parents, and community members on the effectiveness of
deped programs, projects, and activities.
d. Monitoring and Evaluation: Implement a systematic monitoring and
evaluation framework to assess the effectiveness and impact of deped
projects, programs, and activities. Establish clear performance indicators
and benchmarks to measure success and identify areas for improvement.

2. The School Governance Council shall collaborate with Deped Officials,

teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure the effective
implementation of these recommendations.
3. The School Governance Council request the DepEd to consider these
recommendations and incorporate them into their policies and guidelines for
the improvement of the quality of projects, programs, and activities.
4. The School governance Council pledges its commitment to actively participate
in the implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of these recommendations
to foster continuous improvement in the education system.
We hereby adopt this resolution on the recommendation for improving the quality of
DepEd projects, programs, and activities.
