The presentation was covering a lot of topics all together which
made it very lengthy hard to follow through.
During the presentation, I learned that legal aspects are crucial for
organizations to operate smoothly and avoid legal issues or
conflicts. To ensure that they are operating within the legal
framework and avoiding any legal liabilities, organizations must
comply with important Acts that were discussed in detail. It is
important for organizations to understand these Acts and their
implications to operate in a legal and ethical manner. Therefore, it is
essential that organizations give due importance to legal aspects to
avoid any legal troubles and maintain a good reputation in the
market.
Regarding the external research upon which the presentation is
based, the most relevant point to HR is the legal environment and
legal aspects related to the organization. This is because it is the
responsibility of the HR department to ensure that all employment
standards are met and that the human rights code is followed for
the organization to conduct all functions smoothly. Failure to do so
can result in legal consequences and a negative impact on the
organization's reputation.
Overall, it was an average presentation, as I felt that it was a little
more words that examples.
