BASF Lupranate M10

BASF Lupranate M10 is a polymeric MDI (methylene diphenyl diisocyanate)

modified with pure MDI. Lupranate M10 is 2.3 functional and is 32% NCO..L
Lupranate M10 is primarily used in the production of polyurethane potting
compounds, microcellular elastomers and packaging foams. Lupranate M10
provides relatively fast reactivity with slower gel times. Lupranate M10 is
supplied at 70 cps at 25C.

While Lupranate M10 is a good product, it is TRiiSO's opinion that

Huntsman Rubinate 1820 is a much better option. Rubinate 1820 is also a
polymeric methylene diphenyl diisocyanate modified with a low level of
2,4'-MDI. The addition of the 2,4'-MDI enhances the performance and
properties of the resulting polyurethane system. Rubinate 1820 is suitable for
use in polyurethane adhesives, elastomers, encapsulating agents. Rubinate 1820
is an industry standard urethane prepolymer for the production of polyurethane
polymer concrete. Additionally, Rubinate 1820 is also recommended for use in
semi-rigid and flexible polyurethane foam.
