Delivery of modules
ADR ODR International is a leading provider of blended learning. We be-
lieve in the capacity of technology to enhance the learning of each dele-
gates. The nature of each module requires face-to-face learning which is
complimented by our e-learning portal. In addition, we give each delegate
access to course materials through our dedicated course app, Ugenie. Dele-
gates will also benefit from the use of an iPad or learning device for module
2 where arbitration advocacy skills can be recorded and reviewed by both
the delegate and tutors.

ticing their skills. This is why all of our programmes are skill-based and
focus on practical learning. During your training, some of your modules
will include 70% of your time in role-play scenarios with tutor-observed
sessions. The programme is presented by highly experienced international
tutors and ADR practitioners who give comprehensive feedback and guid-
ance throughout.
The course creates a rich and stimulating environment with plenty of op-
portunities to interact with the course trainers and fellow delegates. Case
study exercises, group discussions and de-briefing sessions enable you to
practice the skills you have learnt.

pect of the course including practical difficulties. ADR ODR International

Advocacy for International Commercial Arbitration

1. Case Theory and Analysis

3. Examination of Witnesses
4. Oral Submissions

1. Demonstrate familiarity with legal research, writing and advocacy skills
in the area of international law.
2. Understand the purpose of and method of oral and written advocacy.
3. Learn the basic skills in drafting documents for formal international
proceedings.
4. Learn and practice basic skills of oral advocacy.

Assessments
Our international arbitration course is assessed in a variety of ways includ-
ing oral and written exams depending upon the module type.
