**Hispanic Heritage Month Kicks Off With Recommended Reading List: In celebration of this
years Hispanic Heritage Month, the Fla. Dept. of Educations Just Read, Florida! has released a list of recommended reading. The list is designed to encourage more students to read & learn about the rich cultural diversity & countless contributions of the worlds many Hispanic cultures. See the display in the FCS library & check out the books from the reading list.

**SPECIAL SCHOOL BOARD MEETING: TODAY, Sept. 20th, at the Willie Speed Boardroom, 6:00pm. **SAC MEETING: The meeting scheduled for Tues, Sept. 20th, has been cancelled due to the School Board
meeting.

Special activities: Tours of facility - Fun Games - Live Exhibits - Door Prize Drawing for Adults @ 6:00pm. Enter on Island Drive entrance for parking. Children must be accompanied by an adult. GED CLASSES @ Franklin County School

FALL CLASS DATES TO BE ANNOUNCED SOON! The next GED Test will be given Sept. 26 & 27 at the Franklin County School library at 6:00pm. To register for the test contact Linda Bradley during GED classes or Maxine Creamer @ 670-4481.
