UNDERTAKING

(To be filled by student applying for Pradhan Mantri Uchchatar Shiksha Protsahan (PM-USP), Yojana
(formerly known as Special Scholarship Scheme for Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh (SSS J&K and
Ladakh)

bearing SSS J&K and Ladakh Candidate ID having Aadhaar Number do hereby undertake
that all the information filled by undersigned and the documents in support of my eligibility for PM-USP 2023-24
namely 10+2 examination mark-sheet (if available)/diploma mark- sheet (if available), domicile certificate, caste
certificate, income certificate uploaded on the portal are genuine and true to the best of my knowledge. I do undertake
the following:
a. In case, any of the information filled/ documents uploaded are found to be false/fabricated/illegitimate, my
candidature will be rejected by the AICTE and I shall have no claim/right for scholarship under the Scheme
whatsoever.
b. I shall not share my login ID & password with anyone and take full responsibility of my account on the SSS J&K
and Ladakh Portal.
c. I am authorizing the AICTE to use my AADHAAR number for the purpose of deduplication checks with other
Central/ UT/ State Government agencies, including the National Scholarships Portal of the Ministry of Electronics
and Information Technology (MeitY).
d. During my stay in college campus, I will follow the rules and regulations of the college including the dress code, if
any and I shall not indulge in any activity which leads to conflict in the campus.
e. I have not received any scholarship from any Department of Central Government / UT of Jammu & Kashmir/UT of
Ladakh / State Government or any autonomous body under any of them, including scholarships offered through
National Scholarship Portal(NSP).
f. I shall not apply /claim any other scholarship during the entire period of scholarship under SSS J&K and Ladakh.
g. If I ever plan to receive any other scholarship, I shall inform the AICTE about the same well in advance and ensure
that the SSS J&K and Ladakh scholarship has been discontinued before receiving any other scholarship.

In case of any violation in any of the undertakings (d) to (g) above, I will refund the entire amount of scholarship
comprising of academic fee paid to the institution by AICTE and maintenance grant received by me. Further, for
violating any of the undertakings (a) to (g) above, AICTE shall also be free to forfeit my scholarship and admission
and take any other administrative and legal action as deemed fit.
