A Celebration of Gratitude and Camaraderie

A. PASUNDING
Pasunding is a colloquial word taken from “paso-paso dala paduding-duding”.
This activity is composed of two parts: (1) a street parade and (2) a showdown.

Mechanics:
1. All teaching and non-teaching personnel in schools, districts, and division
offices are expected to participate.
2. There will be 13 participating contingents, which are:
District 1 District 7
District 2 District 8
District 3 District 9
District 4 District 10
District 5 District 11
District 6 District 12
District 13: Division Office
3. The participating contingents will be spearheaded by their respective Public
Schools District Supervisors and Administrative Officer V in the case of the
Division Office.
4. The contest is scheduled on July 6, 2023 (Thursday); assembly time is at
3:00PM; assembly area is at City Plaza. All participants are expected to be
30 minutes before the time.
5. A minimum of 100 participants per contingent are expected to participate.
Failure to meet the minimum number of participants required would mean
automatic disqualification.
6. The awards at stake are:
Pasunding (Street Dance) - 1st Place
Pasunding (Street Dance) - 2nd Place
Pasunding (Street Dance) - 3rd Place
Pasunding (Showdown) - 1st Place
Pasunding (Showdown) - 2nd Place
Pasunding (Showdown) - 3rd Place
Pasunding King
Pasunding Queen
For Pasunding, District 13 (the Division Office) will not take part as a
competing contingent but rather as performers only.

7. Each of the contingents must choose a King and Queen that will best
represent the team.

8. The concept of the presentation would depend on the taste and preferences
of the district. Zumba and/or Tiktok crazes are highly encouraged.
9. In the Street Dance, contingents must adhere to the - column formation.
Strictly no stoppage. Dance steps and choreography must be designed a
with continuous movement.
10. Costumes, hand props, identification arch, a float and the like are
allowed.
11. The contingent sounds system and/or band must be borne by the
participating district. Remixes of music are allowed.
12. The Showdown presentation is good for 4 minutes only including
entrance and exit. A deduction of 5 points from the overall school shall be
deducted for every 10 seconds overtime.
13. Street Dance and Showdown will be judged against the following
criteria:
Paukay/Wow Factor - 50%
Costume - 20%
Choreography - 20%
Overall Impact - 10%
100%
14. Winners will receive trophies and certificates.
15. The decision of the Board of Judges is final and irrevocable.

B. CONCERT DIVAS IMPERSONATION

1. Concert Divas Impersonation is the local version of Your Face Sounds

Familiar, but in this case, the performer does the lip sync only while copying
the persona of the divas.
2. The performer must be a bona fide employee of SDO Bayawan, whether city-
paid or national-paid.
3. The entry for this competition is by district. The Public Schools District
Supervisor (PSDS) is enjoined to choose from his/her jurisdiction the best
representative.
4. The PSDS is asked to represent the district during the drawing of lots for the
identified divas subject for impersonation, which are:
a. BEYONCE - District 7
b. LADY GAGA - District 8
c. NICKI MINAJ - District 5
d. BRITNEY SPEARS - Basay District 2
e. JENNIFER LOPEZ - Division Office
f. KATY PERRY - District 9
g. SHAKIRA - District 2
h. MADONNA - District 1

5. The total performance time of each contestant must have a minimum duration
of two (2) minutes and a maximum duration of four (4) minutes.

6. Each concert diva is only allowed to have two or more backup dancers.

7. The costume of the contestant must be relevant to the chosen concert diva
he/she is impersonating.

8. This competition will be judged by:

Beauty (Kalook-alike factor) - 40%

Lip Sync Performance - 30%

Over-all Production - 30%

100%

9. The decision of the Board of Judges is final and irrevocable.
