ASSIGNMENT 4

BDA 14403
CALCULUS FOR ENGINEER
Please carefully review the provided calculus problems and answer all questions. You will be
required to present your solutions during the class session. Make sure that your solutions are
clear, and concise, and include all relevant steps and reasoning used to arrive at the result.

1. Evaluate ∫𝐶 2𝑥𝑦 𝑑𝑥 + (𝑥 2 + 𝑦 2 ) 𝑑𝑦, where 𝐶 is the circular arc given by

octant.
b. ∬𝑆 (𝑦 2 + 2𝑦𝑧) 𝑑𝑆, where 𝑆 is the first octant portion of the plane 2𝑥 + 𝑦 +
