▲! The connection of load cell and instrumentation to be reliable, the shielded wire of the load cell must be reliably
grounded. The cable is not allowed to be plugged in the state of the indicator powered to prevent electrostatic damage
to the indicator or sensor.
▲! Load cell and indicator are static-sensitive devices, during use, must effectively take anti-static measures, welding
operations or other strong electric operation is strictly prohibited in the scale platform, reliable lightning protection
measures must be implemented in the thunderstorm season, to prevent the damage of load cell and indicator caused
by lightning ,to ensure the safe operation of the personal safety of operating personnel and weighing equipment and
related equipment.

CHAPTER 4 Digital load cell installation and debugging

4.1: Auto-net forming and address assignment of load cell


E type digital load cell support auto networking, all the load cells can make a network when all
the load cells connected successfully. Then go to corner adjustment to modify the address of the load
cells accordingly. This action need to keep the calibration switch on and please find the detail
operating methods below:

4.2: Address modification of digital load cell


When setting a address on the single load cell, or replace a digital load cell on the weighing
platform, both can use this action. Must make sure the indicator connects only one load cell, or will
show the “Err Adr”. Please find the detail operating methods below:

4. 3: Auto-identification of load cell type and quantity


After setting the load cell address manually, the indicator can be gone to the auto-creating weighing
scale system, to make the indicator realize all the load cell in the weighing platform. This action need
to open the calibrated switch. The detail operating methods please find below:

Finish creating weighing scale, return to weighing status.
In order to make sure the accuracy of the corner difference coefficient correction and the long
term stability of the scale, digital weighing system have the same requirement with analog scale on
the foundation and mechanical installment, also need to level on the weighing platform. Querying the
digital load cell ISN is help for the weighing platform leveling and improves the leveling efficient.

4.5 Corner deviation adjustment
Leveling the weighing scale and compacted by heavy machine, then can begin to adjust the
corner difference. The indicator provides two ways to adjust, one is auto corner difference adjustment
and the other is manual adjust the corner difference. This action need to open the calibrated switch.
1、auto corner deviation adjustment
Operation methods please find below.:

CHAPTER 5 Calibration and debugging

When open the calibrated switch, go to calibration and debugging as the following:

Remark 5-2:in any step above, press【Tare/Cancel】can quit calibration status, return to weighing
status. The revised data will be saved only after pushing the 【Zero/Enter】。

CHAPTER 6 Parameters setting

6.1: Communications parameter setting


The indicator provides some kinds of communication protocols and baud rates to choose and the operation
methods please find below:

CHAPTER 7 Querying test


This indicator provides assistance testing function for the load cell and indicator itself, which can help

customer’s analysis and judge the breakdown at the scene. It is easy and simple to use and view.

7.1: Querying scale platform total ISN

7.2: Querying overloading record


The indicator can auto-save at most 5 sets overloading records, these records will be auto-clear after the
successful calibration and decimal change, and they can not be cleared manually. The weight value of these
overloading records will be saved in KG unit. The operation methods please find below:

CHAPTER 8 Error tips


Err 01 stands for:not meet the demand of setting zero.1、exceed the range of setting zero when boot-strap 2、
unstable setting zero;3、exceed the range of setting zero manually.;4、setting zero under the tared condition.
Err 02 stands for:not meet the demand of accumulation.1、the accumulated value is over the display range.2、
unstable accumulation;3、not set zero before accumulation;4、can not accumulate when overloading 5、the
accumulated value less than 5 division value.
Err 03 stands for:overloading alarm, need to discharge all or part of load immediately.
Err 04 stands for:can not calibrate because not stable.
Err 05 stands for:the weight of the second calibrated loading point is not enough, please change a bigger
calibrated weight balance.
Err 06 stands for:not meet the demand of tare condition. 1、taring is not stable;2、overloading taring;3、
the G.W is no more than 0 and taring.
Err 08 stands for:1、no overloading records under this condition; 2、no accumulate value.
Err 17 stands for:the parameter setting is not meet the demands. please take the demands the input range of
related parameter for reference; when set the address of the corner adjustment, repeatedly show the same load
cell; when memory print, show the print type is not match with format, please confirm.
Err 18 stands for:Calibrated switch is not open. Auto-networking, corner adjustment and calibration all need
to open the calibrated switch.
Err 30 stands for:Corner difference coefficient is wrong. The range is in1.20000~0.80000.
Ecc 01~04 stands for:No.n load cell is wrong
Err adr stands for:When setting the communication address of the load cells, scan less than one or no digital
load cell.

Err 00 stands for:Load cells quantity is not correct when auto-networking.
Flash 0 stands for:EEPROM is wrong when boot-strap
…… stands for:Please hold on,the indicator is calculating and do not do actions.
End stands for:Option finish
NO -- stands for:If the searched load cells’ quantity over 4pcs when auto-networking, pl confirm connected
load cell qty with the indicator.

Appendix A: Communication protocol


Series date format can be set: 8-date bit,1-stop bit,no parity bit;Series communication mode can be
continuous communication mode, communication protocol format can be the following 3 types, it can achieve
flexible choice by TF parameter.
(1). Serial mode (TF=1) : (compatible A9)
Transmission data is the real current weight data(gross weight) by indicator(overload weight data:
999999)。every frame is composed of 12 groups data with format below:

(2). Serial mode (TF=2):(compatible D2+)


All data are ASCII code,every frame is composed with 9-byte(included decimal point), data is sent from
bottom to top bit, every frame has a separation symbol “=” , sending current weight data, eg current data is
188.5, serial sending 5.88100=5.881000=……eg current data is -1885, serial sending .58810=.58810=……
No communication under overload status.

(3). Serial mode (TF=3):


All data are ASCII code,every frame is composed with 8-byte(included decimal point), data is sent from
bottom to top bit, every frame has a separation symbol “=” , sending current weight data, eg current data is
188.5, serial sending 5.88100=5.88100=……eg current data is -1885, serial sending.58810-=.58810-=……
No communication under overload status.

(4). Serial mode (TF=4):(compatible Toledo T800)without checksum


Serial mode (TF=5):(compatible Toledo T800)with checksum
Each byte of data consists of 10 bits. The first bit is start bit. The 10th bit is stop bit. The 8 bits inside are
the data bits. Continuous output is 18 bytes of every frame data.
