Problem: Contaminated Water Supply

A common problem in my community is contamination of the water supply. Due to various factors
such as old infrastructure, improper waste management, pollution, water resources have become
polluted and unconsumable. This poses a significant threat to the health and well-being of
community members.

Solution: Improved Water Treatment and Infrastructure

Improving water treatment plants with advanced filtration systems and disinfection techniques,
eliminating pollutants, can provide clean water to homes. It is also crucial to invest in the
maintenance and repair of existing infrastructure to minimize leaks and prevent further
contamination.

Consequences of Not Solving the Problem:

Consumption of contaminated water can lead to various water-borne diseases such as diarrhea and
cholera, and these diseases can cause epidemics and even death. Clean water is not only a basic
need, but also a basic requirement for the development and well-being of a society. Failure to
address this problem can lead to a decline in quality of life, economic downturns and long-term
adverse effects on the overall development of society.

Therefore, it is of great importance to prioritize solving the problem of polluted water supply in order
to protect the health and well-being of the society and ensure a sustainable future.
