ARGENTINIAN CULTURE

• The Argentine culture originates from the


mixture of others that were found during
the years of immigration. Regarding their
ideologies, their liberal or social democratic
thoughts and languages stand out, great
value to freedom, also democracy and
respect for human rights.
• It is that it is a country historically made up of
different migratory waves, a mixture of different
identities coming from different parts of the
world, from which “Argentinity” has emerged, if
it exists.
• Language
The languages of Argentina include both the Spanish language
(there called Castilian) and the autochthonous languages
historically spoken by indigenous peoples, or the
allochthonous languages spoken in a stable manner and for
generations by communities of migrants and their
descendants, who have conserved or used for long periods of
time.
Currently, Spanish is the predominant language, understood
and spoken as a first or second language by almost the entire
population of Argentina, which according to the 2022 census
reaches 47.2 million inhabitants.

It is a cut oval shield, with its upper field of azure


(blue) and the lower field of silver (white), with two
human forearms that shake their right hands in the
lower quarter. The gules cap (phrygian) has a tassel
and is held by the pike (short spear).
