Director DATE : March 2,2023 SUBJECT =: COMPLAINT FROM 8888 CITIZEN'S COMPLAINT HOTLINE FOR ‘TICKET REFERENCE NUMBER P20230215-898-7 Thi is in response to a concern from Mr. Alfredo Flopenia Dibalucos transmitted by your office regarding his complaint on price manipulation of onion and request to subject BPI-Cagayan De Oro to.an investigation in relation to the said issue, In this connection, kindly be informed that our Plant Quarantine Service (PQS) Station in Cagayan De Oro have responded to this concern through a Memorandum dated February 21, 2023 herein attached for your reference. The said memorandum provided details on the incidents that transpired in relation to Mr. Dibalucos’ complaint including actions taken leading to the final disposition on the matter. Hope that this would suffice the necessary clarifications to address the issue. Rest assured that the Bureau of Plant Industry (BPI) will always been in full support of our local farmers and exertall efforts and interventions that will greatly benefit the onion industry of the country.
