Motivation

Earth science and English have

always been my favorite subjects,
so I hope to make an achievement

report combining these two

subjects. The content is mainly to
introduce the characteristics of the
atmosphere, combining the
knowledge I learned in Earth
Science and the clerical skills I
learned in English class.
Methods
This presentation will be presented in the
form of a report. The content of earth
science is to quote the textbook of school
and translate it by myself.

In addition, I also refer to this film, which

can help me how to write sentences and
meanings more smoothly in translation.

The component of atmosphere

Factors of atmosphere

The layers of atmosphere

The component of atmosphere
The component of atmosphere is so much more than the
air that we breathe. It also contains nitrogen, oxygen,
argon and other components.

⋄Nitrogen
Nitrogen is the most abundant gas in the air. It is
colorless, odorless, and tasteless. Nitrogen fertilizer

needed by plants and ammonia produced in the

industry are all made from nitrogen

⋄Oxygen
Organisms need to provide respiration for animals
and plants, and the content of oxygen in the air ranks
second.

⋄Argon
Argon is neither combustible nor combustion
supporting. It is not easy to react at room temperature
or high temperature, and it is an inert gas.
Factors of atmosphere

The atmosphere is the outermost gas layer in

the outer circle of the earth, which surrounds
the ocean and land. There is no definite upper

limit of the atmosphere, and there are still thin

gases and elementary particles at an altitude of
2000 ~ 16000 kilometers. There is also a small
amount of air in the soil and some rocks
underground, which can also be considered a
part of the atmosphere.
The layers of atmosphere

The stratification of the atmosphere is mainly classified

according to the change of atmospheric temperature
with height, which is roughly divided into four layers
from bottom to top.

⋄Troposphere
Due to the heating of surface radiation, the
temperature decreases with the increase of height.

⋄Stratosphere
Because ozone absorbs ultraviolet rays from solar
radiation, it has become the main reason for the
upward warming of the stratosphere.

⋄Mesosphere

The ozone content decreases rapidly, and the

farther away from the ozone layer below it, the
lower the temperature, and the lowest temperature
in the whole atmosphere occurs at the top of the
mesosphere.

⋄Thermosphere
The air is very thin and the heat content is very low,
and the orbit of man-made satellites is mostly
above this layer.
Reflective thinking

In this project, I combined

two different
subjects. I learned that connecting the key

points of each subject can achieve good results.

In addition, I also found that I had a sense of
achievement in writing my things after
digesting the knowledge I usually learned in
class. I hope I can bring the experience gained
this time to various fields in the future.
