The fairy-tale event took place at Lake Como in northern Italy
on September 22, 2018

The ring exchange ceremony took place at the lakeside , For this A-list couple, it was
one of the most scenic spots in Italy – Lake Como, that fit the bill as their ideal
engagement venue.

THE ADORABLE BRIDE ENTRY –

The most stunning part of the engagement was the bride’s walk down the aisle,
where
Mukesh Ambani walked his daughter down to the lake front flanked by both her
brothers!
 DRESS-
On the day of the engagement, Isha Ambani made an appearance in a gorgeous gown a blush pink fish cut
dress with embroidery all over and a veil by Dolce & Gabbana. The dress is from a rare collection by the
Italian fashion house.
Anand Piramal, on the other hand, opted for a traditional outfit that was resplendent with skilfully
embroidered motifs.

DÉCOR-
On day one, when Mukesh Ambani walked his daughter Isha Ambani to Anand for the ring exchange
ceremony, guests stood at the grounds beneath a beautiful villa that was entwined in real wild flowers,
thorns and bright green leaves. These twines extended everywhere, and remained refreshing amidst today’s
cliched wedding decor trends

The romantic decor at this ultimate luxurious engagement of Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal, was
complete with floral decor and colourful fun lights. It was done by none other than the design powerhouse,
Dolce & Gabbana.
The floral arch was a sight to behold against the blue waters of the lake

The Romantic Flower Shower by Lake Como

Italy observed one of the best celebrations ever. After the official ceremony of exchanging rings , there was
a flower shower and water fountain show.
 The engagement decor included a huge hologram of the couple. It made the evening lit.
John Legend’s performance was set against a huge backdrop of purple and yellow lights, all perfectly in line
with the extravagant wedding decor theme.
Golden chairs in brilliant white table settings decked the reception grounds, and looked like a location fit for
stunning weddings.

Brilliant fireworks lit up the sky above Lake Como for over an hour, a nice final touch to the beautiful
engagement back, every aspect of this glitzy affair was impeccably planned and choreographed

Performance By The Legends At The Engagement In Italy
R&B singer and composer , John Legend performed at the engagement. While bright lights were used to set
the right tone for this after party, the romantic ballads by the ‘All of Me’ singer created a dreamy mood that
added to the excitement and emotional quotient of the event
GUESTS-
The event was attended by the cream of the business and entertainment
industries.Jhanavi Kapoor, Priyanka chopra with nick Jonas, anil
Kapoor, sonam Kapoor and anand ahooja , juhi chawala , aamir khan ,

 LOGISTICS-
For their guests, the Ambanis booked several chartered flights. Over the two days, the
Maharana Pratap Airport in Udaipur saw a lot of activity because of the pre-wedding festivities.

The families have also booked over a thousand luxury cars to ferry their guests to and from the
Udaipur airport.

The Ambanis have booked all major five-star hotels in Udaipur catering to Ambani’s and
Piramal’s guests and the teams which will be working to make the event happen.

Guests were greeted with a lavish lunch at their respective hotels.

The menu included the best of Indian and Western foods and flavours.

The afternoon will see guests dressed in the best of Indian attire for a grand welcome and high
tea at Udaivilas.
The Ambani and Piramal families have a royal setting in place to welcome their guests.
 SWADESH BAAZAR FOR WEDDING GUESTS
There is a Swadesh Bazaar set up for guests, where the Ambanis and Piramals are providing a
platform for More than 100 Indian traditional artisans to display their craft and to integrate local
culture and traditions into the festivities

The bazaar will exclusively showcase India's rich and diverse art and craft heritage.
Ambani’s wanted that all the wedding guests including high profile guests like Hillary Clinton
and many Business tycoons, Bollywood stars, to explore the rich culture and crafts of India. So
they initiated it for all the wedding guests. The Bazaar was a part of the festivities on both
December 8 and 9.

ANNA SEVA
The Ambani and Piramal families kickstarted the wedding festivities in Udaipur with a special
'Anna Seva', wherein they are feeding 5,100 people (majority of them with special abilities)
every day from December 7 to 10, three times a day.
The Anna Seva is taking place at the Narayan Seva Sansthan in Udaipur.
 MANISH MALHOTRA POP-UP STORE

On both Saturday and Sunday, guests will have the option of last-minute shopping from a Manish Malhotra
pop-up store set up at the Lake Palace Hotel. Guests have also been advised to wear 'comfortable footwear'
for all events; we are guessing because the festivities will require a lot of walking and dancing.

MAHA AARTI OF SHREE NATH JI

Mother of the bride, Nita Ambani, kicked off the sangeet celebrations with a touching performance to
Madhurāṣt ̣akam, a Sanskrit composition by the Hindu Bhakti philosopher-poet Sripad Vallabha Acharya in
devotion of Krishna with vocals by Shreya Ghoshal.

Shreenath ji Maha aarti set up was organized at Udaivilas with a mesmerizing view of Lake Pichola behind
and a massive, white Lord Krishna idol and several gold temple pillar-like structures against a backdrop of
the lake. Nita Ambani who is a trained Bharat Natyam dancer performed in Maha Aarti function.
 The arti was followed by a relaxed dinner under the starry Udaipur sky.
After the dinner, guests were treated to an evening of romantic tracks. Bollywood singer Arijit Singh payed
a tribute to Isha and Anand's love story with the best of his tracks.
Arijit Singh's live performance made way for the family sangeet, where the Ambanis and Piramals
celebrated the union of their children with music and dance performances.
There is an after-party too scheduled for the night.

For the sangeet ceremony, hotel The Oberoi Udaivilas in the Lake City of Udaipur was decorated with
baubles and flowers

The biggest stars descended at the Ambani wedding, which honestly felt more like an Awards Show than a
Wedding Sangeet! Yep, Everyone was there (including Beyonce), and every one was on the stage dancing

 On Sunday, the Ambani and Piramal families have set up a carnival for their guests.
At the Mela, guests had the option of taking part in games and cultural activities.
The dress code for the daytime festivities is festive or smart casuals.
Guests were treated to an exquisite Palace Soiree and an extraordinary evening.

Global corporate leaders, including steel magnate Lakshmi Mittal, BP group chief executive Bob Dudley,
21st Century Fox CEO James Murdoch and Diageo CEO Ivan Menezes, among others, descended on
Udaipur to attend the wedding festivities.

 Phoolon ki Holi

The families even hosted a mela with a “phoolon ki holi” or a Holi with flowers that
witnessed celebrities playing dandiya and enjoying the party in full swing. The entire day
function was themed around flowers. A few men clad in saffron clothes showered the guests
with marigold flowers as they danced under the sun. There were live music and a never-
ending choice of desserts.
 BEYONCE !!
She came, she slayed and she ruled!
American pop sensation, queen bee aka beyonce , performed at one of events at the Oberoi
Udaivilas Hotel in Udaipur. Isha Ambani's wedding with Anand Piramal became the talk of the
town after Beyonce's performance.The Crazy in Love singer was booked to give the bride and
groom a private concert at the start of their pre-wedding ceremonies. She sang her songs like
Crazy in Love, Naughty Girl, and Perfect, among her several other numbers, at the function.

By the looks of it, Beyoncé had several outfit changes during her set, including the above
embellished number (by Indian designers Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla) and the below all-gold
bodysuit.

 INVITATION CARD
The extravagant floral-themed wedding card takes you through a journey which is spiritual and
emotional too.

The wedding invite box contains a 8-leaf card that opens with blessings from grandparents, parents,
has Gayatri Mantra written next to the image of Goddess Saraswati and features an interesting
movable swan; details of the wedding functions and a handwritten note from Isha and Anand which
is the highlight of the card. The note explains the concept of the floral-themed card and how their
journey will be incomplete without mentioning their grandparents.

A unique feature about the card is the way the duo has symbolised their respective grandmothers
with flowers, each embodying their qualities. The Lotus is dedicated to Kokila Mummy, the Hibiscus
to Purnima Nani, the Rose to Lalita Dadi and Frangipani to Arunika Nani.

The card also has a decorative box, we are guessing that it's gold-plated and contains 4 small
treasure boxes with idols of Gods along with beaded gemstone malas. The unique feature is that the
moment the box is opened, Gayatri Mantra starts playing.

It is believed that each box invite costs about Rs 3 lakh

Isha Ambani's brothers begin a baraat for the wedding

Though the baraat (a procession of dancing wedding guests) usually comes with
the groom at Hindu weddings, Isha Ambani's wedding today has begun with an
in-house baraat.

While brothers Akash Ambani and Anant Ambani were seen sitting atop horses
at the entrance of Antilia, a parade outside the residence also featured women
dressed as mermaids to add a whimsical touch to Isha Ambani's wedding day.

The Former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Pranab Mukherjee, Billionaire industrialist,
philanthropist and former Chairman of Tata Sons, Ratan Tata , Union Minister of Home Affairs Rajnath
Singh (C) and Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis was among the guests at Ambani residence 'Antilia
for the wedding.
Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan, along with daughter Shweta and grand-daughter Navya, were among the
first guests to arrive for Isha-Anand's wedding.
Joining the Big B at the wedding, were Abhishek, Aishwarya and Aaradhya Bachchan who arrived
separately.
Mamata Banerjee, Chief Minister of West Bengal, and Praful Patel, President of All India Football
Federation and former minister of Civil Aviation & Heavy Industries, also arrived for the high-profile
wedding.
Priyanka Chopra, who is known to be close to Isha Ambani, and even had her as one of her bridesmaids
arrived with husband Nick Jonas.
Rajnikanth and wife Latha also arrived to bless the couple.
Entrepreneur and singer Ananya Birla, daughter of Kumar Mangalam Birla, attended.
 Actors Salman Khan (L) and Shah Rukh Khan were one of the late arrivals at the wedding.
President of FICCI FLO, Pinky Reddy also made her presence.

shutterbugs at the wedding. Actor Aamir Khan arrived with his film-maker wife Kiran Rao for the

Actress Kiara Advani also made it to Isha-Anand's wedding. Virender Sehwag leaves Antilia after
congratulating newlyweds Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal. Tabla maestro Zakir Hussain and wife
Antonia Minnecola were also at the Ambani residence tonight.
Varun Dhawan and natasha dalal, Madhuri dixit and Sriram nene , were also present.
Vidya balan n Siddharth roy , Boney Kapoor reaches Antilia with daughters Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi

Isha and Anand got married as per the Gujarati traditions and the Hindu Vedic rituals. During the
wedding ceremony, legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar showered blessings on the couple by recording a
beautiful rendition of the Gayatri Mantra, a Ganesh stuti and a special message for the newlyweds in
her own voice.

Megastar of Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan explained the ritual of Kanyadaan in English to the guests
present there. Moreover, prolific singers namely Shubha Mudgal, Roop Kumar Rathod, Shankar
Mahadevan and others chanted the mantras while the wedding was going on.

Legendary Tabla maestro Zakir Hussain also entertained the guests with his performance and received
a round of applause by everyone.

The whole Ambani and Piramal families along with the guests had fun during the wedding traditions. It
was even an emotional moment for the Ambani family as their loving Isha got married and left their
home.
DECOR
 Flowers looks attractive and colorful in any wedding function but Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal,
both to be couple dedicated flowers to their Grandmothers who are a role model for them, Lotus to
Kokila Maa, the Hibiscus to Purnima Nani, the Rose to Lalita Dadi and the frangipani to Aruna Nani. It
shows the respect, love and attachment for the elders, the family bond and their tradition.

The couple emphasize exotic flower wedding theme which we can easily see in all their pre wedding

Antilia transforms into a garden of blooms for Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal's wedding

Looking at the impeccable work, it's hard to believe that Antilia's wedding decoration was completed
within one night. While the driveway of the building has been filled with full-blown red roses and
metallic gold trees, the sides of the entrance doors have been decked out with ivory and gold domes
decorated with diyas.
The road leading up to Antilia, Mumbai's Altamount Road has also been decorated with rows and rows
of bold yellow and orange marigold flowers

The reception was held at JIO GARDEN,MUMBAI wherepreparations were

done on full swing for wedding reception, with exotic flowers and props. Guests
followed a formal dress code. Oscar winner A R REHMAN performed at the
