Turn IN No. 24: DISCUSS WHAT TO DO IN CASE THERE IS BOMB THREAT TO PREVENT
OR MINIMIZE ITS EFFECTS IN YOUR RESPECTIVE AOR.

As a security professional, your primary responsibility is to prevent and mitigate criminal


activities, including bank robbery, kidnappings for ransom, and drug trafficking. Here are some general

 Familiarize yourself with emergency response plans and evacuation procedures.

appropriate countermeasures.
 Maintain open lines of communication with law enforcement agencies and other security
personnel.

Intelligence Gathering:

 Gather and analyze intelligence related to criminal activities, including trends, patterns, and
specific threats.
 Monitor local crime reports, news, and law enforcement bulletins for relevant information.
 Collaborate with other security professionals and agencies to share information and insights.

During:

Remain Calm and Alert:

 Stay composed and focused during a crisis situation.


 Continuously assess the situation and adjust your response accordingly.
 Maintain situational awareness and look for any signs of danger or suspicious activities.

Follow Established Procedures:

 Implement emergency response protocols as trained.


 Communicate with your team members and coordinate efforts effectively.
 Prioritize the safety of individuals present and follow established evacuation procedures if
necessary.
 If the situation involves hostages, prioritize their safety and follow the guidance of law
enforcement negotiators.

Assist Law Enforcement:

 Cooperate fully with law enforcement authorities.
