INTRODUCTION

A er being an Instructor and Technical training manager at South African Airways for more than 30 years, Marthinus
Potgieter started Intelek Training and Consulta on (ITC) in 2007. ITC presented maintenance and type training for
individuals, maintenance organisa ons and major airlines for many years and our customer list is ever growing. Some of
our clients, past and present, include Global Avia on, TAAG Airlines, LAM, Zambezi Air, LAM startech, FFA, Air Mauri us,
Safair, SA Airlink, only to name a few.
In 2011, ITC Academy was born. Completely independent and without outside funding. This in itself was a challenge, but
no challenge is too big for the passion and drive Mr. Potgieter has for teaching and the avia on industry. Star ng at
Springbok flying services at Rand Airport, un l this once li le training school was burs ng out its seams. ITC Academy has
proudly moved to our own building at Rand Airport in the beginning of 2017 and now growing even faster.

APPLICATION FEE

The prescribed security deposit is not refundable. The applica on form will only be accepted for processing if
accompanied by this applica on fee.

SELECTION

1. Provisional selec on for studies can be done on the basis of the grade 11 final examina on marks (not symbols)
if the applicant has not yet matriculated, or on the basis of the matricula on symbols as indicated on the
cer ficate. N2 and N3 qualifica ons are also accepted for considera on. New legislation states that you need a
minimum of an N2 to be able to write your trade test (this is the final examination at the end of your training)
2. ITC Academy reserves the right to require of candidates who have not obtained a specific average pass
mark, to write an addi onal selec on test on the basis of which final considera on will be given to the
applica on of such a candidate. Following receipt of applica ons for admission, candidates will be informed
as to whether they are expected to write the selec on tests and as to the date, me and venue.
