 General guidelines
This file is only applicable when the product is crinkle rayon style.

When the product you inspect is crinkle rayon style, please use major tolerances in this file as
GSS(minor) tolerance, meaning that only when the discrepancy is beyond this major tolerance do you
need to consider it as a defect.

1/ how to identify a product is crinkle rayon style:

Open the Bill of Materials page of GSS file, check product description/fabric to see if it mentions
“crinkle”. If it does, then it means it is crinkle style.

Below is what a crinkle rayon garment usually looks like:

2/ what you should do when the product is crinkle rayon style:

Once confirmed the product is crinkle rayon style, you need to adopt the major tolerances in chart and
replace them with GSS tolerance.

Example: for bottom opening straight, the GSS tolerance is “3/8”, and major tolerance in this file is “1”.
Then you need to put in measurement chart as below:
