LTS 1: Reflection

Activity 1. Directions: Complete the following phrases. 10 points each.

1. I believe that as a student, National Service Training Program will help me to have an awareness
about our state. As a student, it will boost my physical, moral, spiritual, intellectual and social
well being. In physical aspect, it will serve as an physical activity or an exercise to my body by
engaging to the activities assigned by my chosen NSTP components such as teaching the youth,
cleaning facilities and doing military practice. In moral aspect, my ethics and virtues to our
country will strengthen such as patriotism and nationalism. My spiritual aspect will be enhance
by helping others which is one of the religious values of Catholic. Teaching the youth is also a
way to feed my knowledge that can help me in my future preferred profession and the last one is
my social well- being, as an educator of the children in need of basic knowledge, my capability
to socialized, communicate and learned with them will heighten my social skills . I know that the
aforementioned benefits to me as a student of NSTP is insufficient to what it really means but
this will be my objective as a student that at the end of my journey in this subject, I will be what
the NSTP aims to every student of this subject.

2. The National Service Training Program is important as part of the curriculum because I believe
that school is the second place of learning of students with the guidance of their teachers. This
program perfect place to implement is in the school because this will also be a step of helping the
college students to be a good citizen of our country because in the future they will be the one
who will lead our country. I believed that college students who is in the legal age should practice
of what their responsibility as a citizen of this country by rendering their skills in military,
literary or civic service. It will be a way of giving awareness to the students of their involvement
to others or to the pubic or civil affairs in the future. The values they should founder in their age
for community building and national security.

3. As a student of NSTP-LTS, I can be of better service of my country by teaching others the

literacy and numeracy skills that will serve as a basic knowledge for them because this is the
only help that I can give to them as a student. I know that they don’t have the capability to afford
their studies in a formal education that I experience. So, this will serve as a service to them and
to our country to lessen the population of people who doesn’t even know the basic knowledge
taught in school which is to count, to read and to write. This will be an advance experience for
me if I will be in the field of education in the future. This will enrich my love to teach in the
students. It is also a way of contributing to the general welfare of our nation.
