Instructions:
•The teacher will pick a name of a student.
Once the student has been called, he or she
will go in front and pick a strip of paper. The
paper has a word in it and the chosen
student will act out the word he or she
picked and the remaining students on their
seats will have to guess theword.

What is reader’s theater?
Reader's theater is a type
of performance where a
group of people read a
script aloud, emphasizing
the use of voice and facial
expressions to convey
character and emotion.
Elements of Reader’s Theater
1. Pronunciation
-Each performer should
enunciate their lines
clearly and correctly to
ensure the audience can
understand what is being
said.
2. Projection
-Performers should
project their voices to
the back of the room so
that everyone in the
audience can hear
them.
3. Emotion
-Performers should
convey the emotions of
their characters
through their voice and
body language.
