URBAN PATROLLING IN HIGH-RISK AREAS

OBJECTIVE

Police shooting technique where body position, gun grip, and movement are defined by a unique set of
rules to achieve better accuracy while on the move. These techniques enable faster and freer
movements while also providing protection during displacement.

These shooting techniques were developed by police officers who have been involved in various
confrontations, with the aim of seeking safety during armed conflicts, seeking shelter, and cover. The
operator can move quickly and safely from one point to another, even with the support of a second
weapon, creating a protective wall of fire that prevents the opponent from aiming accurately. These
techniques can be applied in both open and closed environments.

We know that pairing is the smallest cell formation employed by a group of tactical operators in a
particular operation, whether it be police or military.

The foundation of this patrol is mutual safety and protection between the two operators. One of the
techniques used is the protective fire, where one of the operators provides cover during a progression or
even during a strategic retreat to a safer location. This technique involves training and mastery of
equipment to make it impossible for the opponent to aim accurately while on the move.

9.0-PROGRESSION AND COMBAT IN JUNGLE AREAS

OBJECTIVE

Course on Progression and Combat in Jungle and Forest Areas instructs the Operator to act in the
transition from urban to jungle environment, presenting principles and techniques of Survival, preparing
Police or Military agents for a safer and more adapted action to Jungle or Rural circumstances and
unforeseen availability of resources, including accidents with injuries and contact with venomous
animals and Traps.

The course includes adaptation to biomes, orientation and navigation. Guidelines for composition and
formation of patrols in the Jungle and rural areas, how to perform night patrols, defensive and offensive
techniques of immediate action, Ambush, tracking and counter-tracking (Field Cleaning), ranging from
quick actions to overnight and days in hostile environments.

Taught by experts in survival and this type of activity, the course offers tactical resources and knowledge
useful to security professionals who need to carry out incursions or patrol actions in rural environments.
