Knowledge is broad in the sense that one's can acquire more as they become erudite in any field of the

study and practice. In given argument the author states that all faculty of the college and universities
should require time to spend oudtside academic world in professins relevent to the courses they teach.
In my opinion, i strongly agree with the prompts that the more the outside relevent courses they spend
more practically sucessful to their teaching process for the following three reasons.

Firstly, more exposure to the practical field more be the experience to relate the theory and practical
courses. Faculty member's practical knowledge inreases as they visit to the relevent courses they teach
and easy to co-relate the courses he or she teaches. For example, agriculture professor vist to differnt
farms and the area of the land in which many crops are cultivated. In that time he can evaluate the
teaching method and the practical implementation. Therefore it is beneficial for the faculty fo spend
time in outside academic world.

Secondly, it is easy to know the advantage and disadvantage of the course they teach. Many researchers
may benefitted from the exposure to the field that, in where he or she can calculate the merit and
dismerit the research he or she conducted. For example, forest researcher work in one type of research
in the timber yielding capacity in different region. He or she make more emphasis on visiting the forest
or national park that can easy to evaluate the validity of research purpose.

Additionally, some may argue that spend time outside the working academic world is wasting of time, in
that time he or she give more attention on own's works. However, the spending time doesn't lead to the
wasting of time, it should faciliate the uplifting of work and correlate work to the application of study in
that fields.

In conclusion, faculty of college and universities spend time on outside the relevent academic world
leads to enhance the academic performance and faciliate the value and important of respective fields.
The author of the argument states that many Mozart graduates have gone on to become well-known
and highly paid professional musicians. The conclusion of the argument is based on premises that;
Mozart School is the first choice for a parent, the school provides instruction in all musical
instruments, and the faculty includes some of the most distinguished musicians in the area.
However, there is many stated and unstated assumption that leads to unwarranted the argument.

Firstly, the argument readily assumes that any type of student in music class get perfection. It may
be that the ability of the students perhaps different. Some may learn faster and others may show that
the learning process of the student is different. It can ' t say that all students who learn the same
thing may equally perceive. The conclusion of the argument is easily doubted.

Secondly, the piece of evidence that the author needs to evaluate that all type of musical instrument
offer may reduce the perfection in only one instrument that one student like. There is no clear that
the duration of the teaching hour is not mentioned. The short period of teaching may lead to
imperfection in the music. Another important factor is a practice that leads to the perfection of an
instrument. If the author will evaluate the above mention, then the validity of the argument should be
considered.

Thirdly, the author states that there includes some of the most distinguished musicians that the
author did not mention the type of musician, number of musician and ratio of the musician to the
student. If the author mentions clear about musicians then it will strengthen the argument. The low
number of music teachers should hamper the learning process of the students.

In conclusion, becoming a well-known and highly paid musician in the argument ends up with
various doubts. Therefore, the author's argument is not likely to significantly persuasive to enroll a
child in the Mozart School of Music.

I agree with the position that colleges and universities should require all faculty to spend time
working outside the academic world in professions relevant to the courses they teach. Although this
may be more necessary for some than for others, this would be important for every professor to
experience at least occasionally. Allowing faculty to take the time to experience the real world
applications of their subjects would be benficial not only to the professors, but it would also benefit
the students.

Faculty would maintain expertise in their fields and expands their views and knowledge in their given
areas. Just as those who are learning a subject need context and examples to solidify the material in
their minds, teachers should keep up to date with their subjects to keep the material fresh in theirs.
Having an experience first hand is drastically different from reading about it in an academic journal.
This would also allow professors to be the most accurate and helpful they can be when they prepare
students to enter a certain field. As disciplines change over time, it is important for faculty to
understand the new needs and aspects of a particualr profession. Their students would have the
opportunity to learn from someone who is currently experiencing the profession which they are
studying. This would give those anticipating a career in a given field access to a better understanding
and a more insightful view of what to expect.
Some might argue that this requirement of time and energy on the part of the faculty would actually
be detrimental. Professors would lose time that they might normally give to students in order to fulfill
this necessity. However, I think the benefits of learning from someone who understands every
aspect of the field outweigh the anticipated results of this fear. Working outside the academic world
may even afford professors more time to spend on their students as they may now having a better
grasp of what they are teaching, so they won't have to spend countless hours researching their own
field in articles and journals.

If schools of higher learning choose this approach I believe that it would improve the institutions
enormously. Having significant and relevant experience in a subject one teaches is an important and
necessary step toward a great education
