- Our F&B Service teacher, ma'am Maricel S. Tupa, held a meeting for the deployment in
McDonald's Calbayog and for the correction of the shortage of paperwork on the first day of our
preparations. In order for us students or trainees to be completely ready and to have a basic
understanding of what McDonald's is.

March 18, 2023 Saturday

- On the second day, we'll go to McDonald's for an orientation Then, during the orientation,
Ma'am Samson the manager explained the structure of McDonald's, the history, the purpose,
especially for the crews, and who they are, what they do, and so on. Following that, we have our
picture taking, and our teacher, ma'am Tupa, presents and passes all of the documents that
we've provided, particularly our resume and application letter.

March 19, 2023

- On the third day of my journey, which was my first training, it took me 9:30 to get inside
McDonald's. I was late because I was missing a t-shirt, which takes time, and because I was
training as a dragon boat player or athlete for the upcoming tournament on April 1 and 2. Then,
while inside the facility, I first ask the security guard for the inspection sana, but one of the crew
members is going in for his duty and assisted me in getting inside the lobby and kitchen through
the inside. And when I ask for the manager's signature, she asks why I'm late. I explain all of my
legitimate reasons for wanting my appeal approved, and everything is fine. So, I met my co-ojts
or classmates; they have a guide or a crew that explains all the importance of the items inside
McDonald's and all the uses of the items, particularly sanitation. Sanitation and cleanliness are
two of the most important concepts discussed. Following that, we began our five-hour training
session. I started at 9:30 a.m. and finished at 3:00 P.M.
