the Day
Morning • The formwork for beam and
slab are being laid on the
eastern part of block 'A' and
western part of block 'C'.
• The subgrade for the isolated
footing on the south side of
each block 'A' and 'C' couldn't
be prepared because some
good effort on site clearance is
required, and most workers
are busy on formwork.
• The drawings for beam and
slab layout of first floor has
been received, and the same
has been provided in hard
copy and soft copy to the
contractor engineer as well as
the sub-contractor himself. At
first, there was some
reluctance to join formwork
for layout with downslab. The
day's work at Guest House
was called off because the
contractor thought lots of
effort was required to make
the formwork as per the new
drawing. However, with
exclusion of downslab, now
the work has now resumed.
• The schedule has been
checked for secondary and
main beam and the layout was
also checked for whether it
was followed or not.
• No significant work was
done on Tubewell and
Drainage.
• With the inadequacy of
supports for beam and slabs,
the pace is going quite slow.
• The 10 mm 𝜙 rebar for slab
is yet to arrive on site, which
is expected to be 14 m long.
• The props are also said to be
ordered, but yet to arrive.
