INTRODUCTION
INTRODUCTION
Marijuana, also known as cannabis, comes from the
Cannabis sativa plant. It is most commonly used for
the happiness and relaxation of its user and can be
made into medicine and cured of various types of
diseases. Many adults report that they use cannabis
to relax, relieve anger, and generally improve their
well-being. However, there are associations between
cannabis use and certain mental health concerns
such as Depression, general anxiety and social
anxiety.(Eric Patterson, LPC)
INTRODUCTION
Cannabis is known to cause a variety of
behavioral impacts, including becoming
"high" and feeling calm or relaxed.
However, depending on usage frequency,
intensity, age of starting, and continuous
exposure, cannabis use can have a number
of negative behavioral effects.

Generally, the study aimed to found out the Impacts of
Marijuana on Individual Behavior.
Specifically, the study attempted to seek answer to the
following questions:
1. What is the respondents behavior as affected by
marijuana?
2. How does marijuana become a threat to one`s
behavior?
3. What is therespondents perception towards the effect
of marijuana to one`s behavior?
SIGNIFICANCE
OF THE STUDY
SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY
The results of the study would be beneficial to
the following sectors:
Citizens. To give people an awareness on what
are the effects of marijuana use, specifically
its negative effects on their health and
behavior. It will make them realize that
refraining from marijuana can save them from
having addictive qualities that produce
violence and criminal activities.
SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY

Law Enforcement. It will decrease


their exposure to various offenders
who pose a threat to their safety and
will lower the crime rates due to the
substance abuse.
SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY

Future Researcher. This study will


serve as a guide of the future
researchers and give them additional
information about their given topic.

This chapter includes the research method
that was used in the study, the description
of the respondents, the sampling
procedures, the gathering instrument and
procedure are present in order to attain the
objective of the study about the impact of
marijuana to individual's behavior.
