1. What do you think is the impact of modernization towards dealing in our environment?

Modernization has had an impact on the environment, both positively and negatively. On the
one hand, technical developments have resulted in more efficient resource utilization, increased
productivity, and higher living standards. For instance, using renewable energy sources like wind and
solar energy has reduced reliance on fossil fuels and decreased greenhouse gas emissions, and
advancements in agriculture have made it possible to produce more crops with less inputs.
Modernization, on the other hand, has brought with it a variety of environmental challenges.
For example, industrialization has resulted in increasing pollution, deforestation, and habitat
degradation. Ocean pollution and the buildup of micro-plastics in the food chain are major issues
brought on by the widespread usage of plastics and other non-biodegradable materials. Another
significant issue facing the earth is climate change, which is mostly brought on by the use of fossil
fuels.
Overall, the impact of modernization on the environment depends on how it is managed and
regulated. While technological advancements have the potential to address environmental problems,
it is important to ensure that the costs and benefits are carefully weighed and that measures are
taken to minimize negative impacts on the environment.

2. What are those situation in any country to classified a first world country?

Today, the term "first world country" is sometimes used more widely to refer to countries
that are highly developed, with advanced economies, strong political systems, and high living
standards. However, there is no agreed-upon definition of what a "first world country" is, and various
organizations and academics may apply different standards to arrive at this conclusion.
Some of the factors that may be considered when designating a country as a first world
country are:
1. Advanced economies, strong industrial and service sectors, high levels of productivity, and
high per capita income are typical characteristics of first- world countries.
2. First-world countries often have stable political systems with functioning democracies,
independent judiciaries, and effective legal systems.
3. First-world countries often have high levels of social welfare, as well as strong public
health and education systems, gender equality, and low levels of poverty and inequality.
4. First-world countries are frequently technological advancement leaders, with extensive
research and development skills and strong science and engineering sectors.
5. First-world countries often have advanced transportation networks, dependable utilities,
and high-quality housing and public amenities.
It is important to remember that the idea of a "first world country" is sometimes criticized
for being out of date and unduly simplistic, and many academics contend that it is more helpful to
think of nations as existing on a spectrum of development rather than in terms of "first world" versus
"third world."
