Task 1

My best friend is supportive and reliable, I think a best friend should be someone who is like
that, and we get along the first time we met, we have been friends for 6 years, we met at the
university, we had to study for a Math exam and we made a group of study with other
people. We both are relaxed people, we like to have long conversations about our lives and
our projects, I don’t like people who I can’t have a conversation with, we love to hang out
eating fast food, and sometimes we watch anime together. My best friend does not like to
exercise and he loves junk food but now I am trying to do more exercise and eat healthy
food to have a healthier lifestyle.

Task 2
Lisa Miller missed the bus to her job interview but is alive to tell the story. Last Friday she
had a job interview, she was printing some required documents when she realized that it
was late to take the bus for the interview. She was downtown and far away from the building
where the interview was going to take place, she was hurrying to the station but when she
arrived the bus had left. She was just five minutes late, but that five minutes saved her life,
the bus she missed crashed some blocks away and when the bus exploded the driver had
jumped out of it, there were no people injured the bus was empty, but if Lisa would be there
she probably had died.

Task 3
When you travel to Bogotá you have to remember some things. When you meet someone
for the first time, it’s the custom to shake hands, don’t try to kiss the person because it could
be uncomfortable. If you want to visit someone, you are supposed to tell the person first, you
can call him or her. At noon in Colombia, we have the principal meal at lunch, it’s more
common that people invite you for lunch than dinner. if someone invites you for lunch you
are expected to bring something to eat or drink, and be prepared to eat a lot. And if
someone invites you to have dinner, it’s the custom to eat less, so if you are used to eat a lot
at night maybe you should prepare another thing to eat after dinner.

Task 4
Today I received the wireless mouse I ordered in mercadolibre.com, I had a lot of
expectations about it but now I am very upset, the mouse is cracked and it doesn’t work well.
The mouse needs fixing, it clicks twice when I just click once and the battery is supposed to
last 8 hours but it lasts only 2, the battery needs to be replaced. I do not recommend buying
it, the pieces of the mouse are low quality, the charging wire is too short, the handle is not as
comfortable as it should be, the mouse is different from the picture of the website, the picture
needs to be changed and the mouse keeps disconnecting from my computer. I would
recommend selling a different mouse and retire this product.
