Family History
On my father's side, his family originated from my hometown, which is the lovely town of Siaton, and
on my mother's side, her family's origin is in Samar, Leyte. My grandfather, Julio, married Natalia, who is my
grandmother, and they had eight children; my father, Alfonso, was one of them. My closest grandmother, Zuela,
was married to Justo, who is my grandfather, and had seven children, including my mother. Both my parents
were the youngest siblings in their family. My father, Alfonso, is the youngest of the eight siblings. My mother
is the youngest of the seven siblings.

The story behind me and my siblings' existence resulted from the love that prospered and bloomed in
the city of Quezon. My dad, who is from Negros Oriental, had an exhibition related to his studies back in the day.
My mother, who is from Leyte, thought of moving into the city to live her life as an adult. They were doing what
they came to do, not knowing that their destiny for each other was like a prophecy. They met and greeted each
other. Then one of them thought of seeing each other again, or, as I say, going on a date. As the days went on,
they started to know each other very well. They found each other like two pieces of a puzzle. They got married
years later and gave birth to my older sister, Alessa, and then me, following my younger sister, Aleah, and
youngest brother, Alric.

Up until now, their love has been evident, and our family is living a life where members are cared for
and loved just the way they are, supporting each other and standing up for each other.
