1. How can the intellectual property protect the rights of inventors, scientists, and artists?

Based on what I heard from the news I watch with the given link, intellectual property protects the rights of
investors, scientists, and artists by saving the IP, the Internet Service Provider(ISP), and the end users. In other
countries, they are trying to bring it to the Internet Service Provider(ISP) so that they would know if there are
illegal downloads. That's how they control the spread.

2. What acts are considered as a violation of the Intellectual Property Code?

Based on what I heard from the news I watch with the given link, acts that are considered as a violation of the
Intellectual Property Code, one of the economic rights available to copyright is the right of reproduction.
Downloading a copy that is not yours and there is no physical transfer of the copyrighted material would lead
to a violation called copyright infringement. Under Section 33B, downloading of previously copyrighted material
allows 3 years of imprisonment and a fine of over 100,000 pesos.
