- Installation of output shafting of (G-3420/E)

- Lifting of output shafting using 50tnr crane
- Assembly of output shafting into its gearbox
- Ensure the coupling hub was aligned
- Use angle finder tool to measure the angle of fan blade
- Tight the bolt after measuring the angle of fan blade
- Ensure the fan blade was not touching at the side

Learnings

- I was learned and familiarized how to assemble & disassemble and output shaft and how to use
angle finder

- Checking of parts of B-3402 Prior to recon

- Inspect and identifying of parts
- Inspect the blower housing
- Withdraw of inboard and outboard bearing also the packing
- Measuring of outside diameter inboard and outboard shafting
- Measuring of inner race and outer race of bearing
- Measuring of inside diameter of inboard and outboard of bearing housing

Learnings

- familiarization of parts of B-3402 and I was learned the difference of sealed and shielded
bearings.

- Testing of gearbox 3420/E at CCRU area.

- Getting of vibration data.
- Getting of temperature P-3602/B at MXU area.
- Seal pot, seal gland, cooler and seal chamber.
- Arranging of parts in blower 3402

Learnings

- familiarized in which parts of pump need to get the reference data for temperature monitoring of
seal oil

- Switching of P-3602 B to A.
- Replacement of seal oil from kero to spinol.
- Close the spare valve first.
- Open the suction valve of seal pot prior to draining and filling of lube oil.
- Loosening of cap nut in suction and the side of pressure gauge.
- Open the draining valve. Drain the seal pot until it becomes empty.
- Filled the suction pipe of seal pot with spinol till reaches the high level of sight glass.
- 2 times flushing of seal pot with spinol until remove the presence of kero.
- After 2 times of flushing filled the spinol of sealpot until reaches the high level of sight glass.
- Temperature monitoring of seal gland and seal pot also the auxiliary pipes if there is a
temperature change
- Tightening bolt of rotor box preservation and leak test performing prior to vacuum and insert of
nitrogen in B-3402/B

Learnings

- familiarized step by step procedure of switching pump.

- Inspection of fan blade of gearbox 2180 due to fan blade damage
- Continuation of temperature monitoring in P-3602/B (seal pot, seal chamber, seal gland in &
out, cooler)
- Vacuum of preservation box prior to filling of nitrogen.

Learnings

- Familiarization on how to vacuum and filling of nitrogen.
