SGI Work & Attendance Policy 2023-2024

10- Minute Rule Students must be in class and following classroom procedures
by the 10 minute mark.

Unit In order for a unit to be considered complete and graded, all

assignments must be completed and standards passed.
Completion
Students can join the class up until the end of unit 2. If a
student is more than two units behind and has failed to attend
make-up session(s), they may be removed from the course
and be required to complete the remainder of the units
independently.
Interventions To support students’ academic success, the following
interventions may be implemented by the school site. SGI
teacher will communicate with Independent Studies teacher
and parent/guardian for every tier of intervention:
