Objetivos:
- Ampliar vocabulario especifico
- Reconocer la diferencia entre “has” y “have”
- Comprender la estructura de las oraciones con el verbo dado
- Interpretar el verbo en su forma oral y escrita.

Inicio:
Have got/has got
We can use have got to talk about our things, family members and parts of the body. Ex:
I have got a new phone.
He has got a sister.
They have got brown eyes

How to use it?


We use have got for I, you, we, they. We use has got for he, she, it. We can contract the verb, especially
when we`re speaking. Ex:
I have got long hair. = I've got long hair.
He has got a new computer game. = He's got a new computer game.

Negative form:
For negatives, we use “not” after have or has. Ex:
LONG FORM SHORT FORM

They have not got a dog They haven`t got a dog

She has not got a hat She hasn`t got a hat

INTERROGATIVE FORM:
For interrogatives, we change the order of have or has and the subject. Ex:
QUESTION SHORT ANSWER

Have they got a dog? Yes, they have


No, they haven`t
Has she got a hat? Yes, she has
No, she hasn`t

* Do not use got in a short answer. Ex:


Have they got lots of friends?
correct → Yes, they have.

incorrect → Yes, they have got
