AKNOWLEDGEMENT

It is indeed a great pleasure and proud privilege to present the dissertation

report on “Electromagnetic Engine”
We would also like to express our sincerest gratitude to our project
coordinator Prof. A.K.Dubey for helping us carries out literature survey, research and
comparative study which have lead to our selection of project.
We are also grateful to the Head of Department, Mechanical Engineering at
Dr. D.Y. Patil School of Engineering Academy. Prof. Ashwin Ghaysunder for giving
valuable attention and experience that has helped us in achieving our goals.
We also want to thank our respected principal Dr. Rajesh Kherde for
providing us with the basic infrastructure and other facilities.
This acknowledgement would remain incomplete if we do not thank
departmental staff of DYPSOEA, Ambi for their ever-helpful attitude towards making
this project, a great success
ABSTRACT

Trade Has Been Seeing to End Its Dependency on Oil. Moreover, Currently the Need
for Fuel Has Amplified and In the Near Future, Shortage of Fossil Fuels Is Being
Expected Due to Their Endlessly Growing Consumption. The Present Work Focusses
on The Development of Electromagnetic Engines as An Alternate for The Existing Fuel
Combustion Engines. Various Probabilities Were Carried Out in Developing an
Electromagnetic Engine and The Magnetic Flux Produced by The Electromagnet to
Give Required Force to The Piston and Power Output Produced by Engine Were
Calculated.
This project is one of the main power sources for the automobile engines. This project
is to describe the construction and design of a V-type magnetic engine, which operate
with the help of electromagnetic force. This mechanism is entirely different from
normal IC engine mechanism. It works with electromagnetic effect and repulsion of
magnetic force instead of fossil fuels. It consists of, two permanent magnet and two
electro magnets.
