🌟Julián.
● Escamoles: consists of ant larvae, they have a whitish
tone and their texture is a little crunchy.
● Huitlacoche. mole negro: this mole is prepared with a
variety of chilies with pork broth, but the most
important ingredient is huitlacoche because this give
it its distinctive black color. The huitlacoche is an
edible fungus
● Gusanos de maguey: this dish is made of an edible
worm, it's found in certain species of agave plant
(maguey) and can be eaten with tortilla tacos or alone

● Tlaxcala has four typical flowers.


● Acetilla: Is a flower with white petals and a yellow
center. It grows like a grass or in a greenhouse.
● Campanilla Azul: Its blossoms are trumpet-shaped and
its most common color is blue, although it also comes
in white, pink, and violet.
● Hierba de burro: This is a white plant that blooms as
a bouquet, is best known for its medicinal properties
and mint flavor.
● Cinco llagas: This flower is used all over Mexico in

● The fauna depends on the area.


● Conifer forest: we find quail, squirrels, badgers,
salamanders, arboreal frogs, tlaconete pintos, and

● Most customs in Tlaxcala are a mixture of pre-Hispanic
and new customs brought by the Spanish during the
conquest.
● The main festivals are the celebration of the Virgin
of Mercy in Apizaco, the Sarape Fair and Santiago
Apóstol in Contla. The festival known as "La
huamantlada" in Huamantla and the Panotla, which
celebrates the patron saint of the village, Nicolás de
Bari.

🌟Magdala.
The most important monuments are characterized by a
vice royal Mexican architecture, or are inspired by
nineteenth century art.
Its most famous buildings are the Basilica of Ocotlàn,
the Palace of Justice, the Xicotenic Theater and the
Government Palace.

Chiapas
🌟Carlos Salgado.
Chiapas is characterized by tropical forests, conifer
and oak forests, as well as moist mountain forests and
cultivated meadows.
Some examples of vegetation in Chiapas are: red cedar,

Chiapas's wildlife depends on the region, for example:
in the mangrove we found alligators. In aquatic

coniferous and oak forests: flying squirrel, bat and
shrew.

🌟JuanMa Tavera:
The typical men’s suit is known as parachico. It
consists of a white shirt, black trousers, a red sash
around the waist and a dark scarf tied around the
neck.
On top of the scarf there is a hat called the Montera.

🌟Coco:
● The women wear what is known as the Chiapaneca
costume, is made of a hand-embroidered dress, a blouse
with a wide, round neckline and a flight of tulle.

colours such as white, orange and pink.

● Chiapas is a state of immense beauty, with jungles,


canyons, rivers and beaches that, together with
archaeological sites and beautiful villages, but the
most important places to visit are Palenque, The
waterfall of Agua azul, the sumidero canyon, Lacandona
jungle, The ruins in PLan de Ayutla and the Territory
in Tuxtla Gutierrez.
🌟Alonso Salgado:
● Chiapas is a state with a cultural legacy from
pre-Hispanic Mexico, however, there are 5 customs that
define it.
● The first of these is the parachicos in the
traditional festival of January, which takes place in
Chiapas de Corzo. Also, the Carnival Zoque Coiteco,
the most important festival of Ocozocoautla de
Espinosa; the celebration of San Caralampio, the
festival of spring and peace in San Cristóbal Chiapas,
and the celebration of San Juan Bautista.

Quintana Roo
🌟Jorge Millán.
● Ninety per cent of the state of Quintana Roo is
jungle. It also has aquatic vegetation, mangroves,
tulares, petenes and palmares.
● And the most important flowers of Quintana Roo are the
chit palm, which grows in the dunes along the coast

and in the middle forests and the Caoba.

● The man's costume is simpler: he wears navy blue


trousers and a brightly coloured floral silk shirt
tied at the waist. He also wears two red scarves, one
tied around his neck and the other hanging to the
right of his waist, and a palm hat.
🌟Ilse Leonora.
● The typical costume for women consists of a white
blouse with a square shaped neck and flared sleeves,
decorated with ribbons in the colour of the skirt and
five snails.
● The skirt is long and quite wide, sometimes red or
turquoise, decorated with painted or embroidered
motifs of the Quintanarroense shield: snail, star and
pine. A white lace apron is worn at the waist. On her

● Quitana Roo is a southern Mexican state full of


beautiful beaches and tourist attractions such as:
Playa del Carmen; Cozumel, Isla Mujeres, Xcaret,
Xel-Há Park, Tulum, Chetumal, Sian Kaan Biosphere,
Bacalar, Akulmar. And finally, Cancun, the principal
beach in it.
● In particular, some of these destinations have been

● Quintana Roo's monuments date from pre-Hispanic


Mexico, as most of them were important Mayan sites.For
example, the Coba archaeological site, the Tower of
Guardía, the Temple of the Frescoes, the Coba ballgame
and the steles.
● On the other hand, we have some monuments that don't
have a Mayan connection, like the Mestizaje Monument;
the 201 Squads and the Juan Bautista Vega Monument in
Cozumel.
🌟Axel Pérez.
● The traditions and practices of Quintana Roo are the
result of mixing the Mayan culture with those of the
Spanish colonisers.
● Some of its customs are Cozumel Carnival, considered
one of the most important cultural events in Quintana
Roo.
● Also, the Hanal Pixán is celebrated from 31 October to
2 November, which corresponds to the Day of the Dead.
● There are also fairs in Cedral, Santa Cruz and Las
Jaranas Yucatecas.
