Dua For Parents 

1. Our parents have sacrificed so much to raise us. We can

never repay them for their kindness. However, we can
do our best to honour them and treat them well. 

Allah s.w.t. says in the Quran:

Your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him and
that you be kind to parents. Whether one or both of them
attain old age in your life, say not to them a word of
contempt, nor repel them, but address them in terms of
honour

(Surah Al-Isra, 17:23)

One of the best things that we can do is to constantly make

sincere dua for them. The Prophet Salla Allahu 3alayhi
Wassalam encouraged us to keep praying for our parents.
Indeed, prayers will continue to benefit them.

When a person dies, his deeds come to an end, except for

three: A continuous charity, knowledge that others benefited
from, and a pious son who (continues to)  pray for him

(Sahih Muslim)

2. I will never be able to repay you, parents for the time and
love you showed me growing up, but know that I love and
appreciate it all, every single day. You both are my daily
inspiration to work harder, try more, and do the best.
 Dua For Parents !

There are so many kinds of Dua that we can pray for our
parents. It can even be any prayer that is voiced deep
from the heart. Truly, Allah will hear even our slightest
cry. 

Dua for forgiveness for parents

.‫ين يَ ْو َم يَقُو ُم ْال ِح َساب‬

َ ِ‫ي َولِ ْل ُمْؤ ِمن‬
َّ ‫ر لِي َولِ َوالِ َد‬.ْ ِ‫ َربَّنَا ا ْغف‬Our Lord! Forgive me,
my parents, and the believers on the Day when the judgment
will come to pass.

3. Thank you to the world's greatest cheerleaders. I am so

blessed to have you both in my corner. Thank you for
always being my compass in life and pointing me in the
right direction. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for
simply being you.

Dua for mercy for parents

َ .‫ َربَّيَانِي‬.‫َّب ارْ َح ْمهُ َما َك َما‬

‫ص ِغيرًا‬ .ِّ ‫ر‬

“My Lord! Be merciful to them as they raised me when I was

young.”

4. Thank you mom, thank you dad! Anyone can have

children, not everyone can parent the way you two did.
Thank you for all what you have done!

Dua for forgiveness for parents and guests

ِ َ‫ َو ْٱل ُمْؤ ِم ٰن‬ ‫ين‬

‫ت‬ َ ِ‫ل بَ ْيتِ َي ُمْؤ ِمنًا َولِ ْل ُمْؤ ِمن‬.َ ‫ي َولِ َمن َد َخ‬
َّ ‫َّب ا ْغفِرْ لِي َولِ َوالِ َد‬
.ِّ ‫ر‬
 Dua For Parents !

My Lord! Forgive me, my parents, and whoever enters my

house in faith, and all believing men and women.

5. I love you Parents! Of all my worldly possessions, you

both are my most cherished. Thank you, Allah, for
bestowing on me gifts, the gift of having my mom and my
dad, the lights of my heart. Your grace is something to
behold. Thank you for always braving life's storms with
me.
6. Dua to increase blessings for parents and instill
gratefulness 

َ ‫ي َوَأ ْن َأ ْع َم َل‬
.‫صالِ ًحا‬ َّ ‫ي َو َعلَىٰ َوالِ َد‬ َ ‫ك الَّتِي َأ ْن َع ْم‬
َّ َ‫ت َعل‬ .َ َ‫ب َأ ْو ِز ْعنِي َأ ْن َأ ْش ُك َر نِ ْع َمت‬
.ِّ ‫َر‬
‫ين‬
.َ ‫ك الصَّالِ ِح‬ َ ‫ك فِي ِعبَا ِد‬ َ ِ‫ بِ َرحْ َمت‬.‫ َوَأ ْد ِخ ْلنِي‬.ُ‫ضاه‬َ ْ‫تَر‬

y Lord, inspire me to (always) be thankful for the blessings

You have granted me and my parents, and to do good deeds
that please You; admit me by Your grace into the ranks of
Your righteous servants

7. My Lord, have mercy on them, as they raised me when I

was a child. We enjoined the human being to be good to his
parents. In pain did his mother bear him and in pain did she
give birth to him.
we find ourselves indebted to our parents, particularly our
mother. She not only nourished us in her womb but went
through pain and suffering. She loved us even before we were
born. She toiled when we were totally helpless infants. She
spent sleepless nights caring for us. Our parents as a team
provided for all our needs: physical, educational,

psychological, and in many instances, religious, moral, and

spiritual.

8. Rabbana-ghfirli wa liwalidayya wa lilmu’minina yauma

yaqumul-hisab.
Our Lord! Forgive me, my parents, and the believers on
the Day when the judgment will come to pass.
Rabbi awzi’nee an ashkura ni’matakallatee an amta alayya
wa alaa waalidayya wa an aamala saalihan tarzahu, wa aslih
lee fee zurriyyatee   innee tubtu ilayka wa inni minal
muslimeen.
My Lord, enable me to be grateful for Your favor which
You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents and to
work righteousness of which You will approve and make
righteous for me my offspring. Indeed, I have repented to
You, and indeed, I am of the Muslims.
9. Oh Allah, prolong the life of my mother and father, grant
them health as long, and make their hearts happy, and relieve
them of all and ease their affairs.
Oh Allah, guide our parents in honoring and obeying You,
Your Rasool/Messenger (peace be upon him), and us as
children (when we are commanding that which is pleasing to
You). Oh Allah, make them the coolness of our eyes. Oh
Allah, grant them worldly comfort so that they can come to
You through the Door of Gratitude and so that they are not
forced to come to You through the Door of Patience. Please let
them always be grateful…and patient.
 
10. Oh Allah, please let our parents forgive us for all mistakes
we made – or will make. Let them look at our shortcomings
and flaws with mercy, understanding, compassion, patience,
and generosity. Allow them to always pray for us and for our
 Dua For Parents !

forgiveness. Please let parents pray for all our ancestors and
let all our descendants always pray for us.
Oh Allah, bless my parents with long, happy, healthy, imaan-
filled lives in the company of their loved ones. Let them end
their lives with the shahadah (testimony of faith) on their lips,
in their hearts, and in their minds. Let them leave behind pious
Muslim progeny who pray for them and for us. Please let my
descendants be Muslim until the end of time. Grant my parents
a husn-al-khaatima (a beautiful ending).

11. RabbiawziAAnee an ashkura niAAmataka allatee

anAAamta AAalayya waAAalawalidayya waan aAAmala
salihan tardahuwaaslih lee fee thurriyyatee innee tubtuilayka
wa-innee mina almuslimeen.
My Lord, enable me to be grateful for Your favor which You
have bestowed upon me and upon my parents and to work
righteousness of which You will approve and make righteous
for me my offspring. Indeed, I have repented to You, and
indeed, I am of the Muslims.”

12. Worship Allah and associate nothing with Him, and be

kind to parents.
Your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him and be
good to your parents. Whether one or both reach old age while
with you, do not say to them even a mild rebuke and do not
repel them but rather speak to them a noble word. Lower for
them the wing of humility out of mercy and say: My Lord,
have mercy upon them as they brought me up when I was
small

13. Thank you our dear ALLAH for giving us such loving and
lovely parents, both our beloved father and mother are our
heavenly bestowed gifts, Alhamdoulillah shukoor to You.
 Dua For Parents !

Allah swt has granted us a beloved mother, she stands as a

symbol of love which is ever shining. They have taught us
what humility, kindness and compassion is …… mot
importantly they have taught us about Islam, good manners
and how to be a helping hand.
