General

• There are two control options available, and Advanced is overall the better one.
While the Simple control scheme feels a little more intuitive, the auto-fire
wastes ammo like no one's business. Once you get used to the aiming down and
firing with the same button, you'll find your accuracy going way up.
• You can communicate with your team... and you can also mute them. There are
small buttons near the map screen for team speak and muting the voice
channels. Use them as you need to!
• Don't forget about your grenades and sub-weapons. It can be easy to forget
about these items when in the fray, but they can turn the tides if used correctly.
• Don't shoot from the hip. It's super inaccurate and not worth letting someone
know where you're at. Get used to looking down the sights whenever you're not
moving.
• Remember to grab your rewards. Level up rewards will be automatically given
to you, but Season and Event rewards need to be turned in at their area on the
main menu.
• Joining a Clan gives you an experience bonus.
• Weapon skins can give extra bonuses, but weapon camos do not. It's weird, but
if you get a weapon that has a special skin, it'll usually provide an extra, small
bonus. Weapon camos, however, are purely cosmetic.
• There are a lot of menus. A lot. Make sure to click through to any menu button
that has a ! when you see it.
Multiplayer
▪ You can change your load-out between deaths. Some of Call of Duty: Mobile's
maps may favor having a sniper in a favorable spot, but it's not always easy to
coordinate that with random teammates.Have multiple load-outs ready for each
situation, and switch on the fly for what your team needs.
▪ Loadouts are only available for Multiplayer modes. Don't worry about wasting a
loadout slot for Battle Royale matches.
▪ You can participate in AI matches. If you're having trouble with the controls or
learning a new weapon, you can choose to have a match filled with bots instead.
You won't get much level experience from it, but it'll provide a low-stress
environment to get used to Call of Duty: Mobile.
▪ Tweak your loadouts after every level. Each new level and new Season tier gives
you new weapons, attachments, and more. Keep tweaking your loadouts to keep
ahead of the curve.
▪ You need to level up to fully use more loadout slots. You'll have two loadout slots
available pretty early on, but the second loadout slot will be incomplete, only
letting you save a few settings. As you level out, more slots will be available to
swap out at any time.
▪ Don't forget to use your scorestreak items. It can be hard to remember in the heat
of battle, but your drones and missiles won't launch themselves!
▪ There are points-based modes, as well as objective-based modes. Pick the mode
you want to play the most!
▪ Learn the maps. You'll eventually figure out where it's most likely a sniper is hiding,
points of contention, and so on and as a result, up your survivability. AI battles can
help with that, as well.
Battle Royale
▪ There are a bunch of classes to choose from, but pick what sounds best for you. At
this time class skills are less important than the items you pick up on the field.
▪ You pick up items by hovering near them for a second or so. Looking at the item will
have your character automatically pick it up.
▪ When you open chests, you'll pick up everything you can carry automatically upon
opening it. So if you're decked out and a teammate is struggling, maybe don't open all
the nearby chests.
▪ It's best to stick with your teammates. While teamwork isn't at the forefront of Call of
Duty: Mobile, it's better to try and stick together than to split off to other areas.
▪ Head to the center of the circle as soon as you can. While some battle royale titles let
you dawdle a bit while the ring closes in on you, Call of Duty: Mobile is not one of
them. Start making your way to the center of the circle, as soon as possible, or you
might end up dead outside of it.
▪ You can revive teammates. Pick up their dogtags and you'll be able to revive them.
Don't risk going outside the ring for them, though.
▪ Your Battle Royale loadout is just cosmetic. You'll have to procure everything when
you drop into the battle.
▪ Use healing items! Seriously, don't forget about them.
Things Call of Duty: Mobile Doesn't Tell You
Call of Duty Mobile has a quick and easy tutorial to get you acquainted with the touch controls,
but there's a lot that Activision's latest title doesn't tell you.
1. There are a lot of different setting options. The settings include things like sensitivity,
button placement, and more. Hit the gear icon at the top of the home screen and get to
tweaking the options for the best experience!
2. You're fighting against bots at first. In the early levels of Call of Duty: Mobile, you're
fighting against bots, to make it easier to learn the ropes. By the time you're at level 10,
you'll be fighting only other humans, if you don't pick the AI match mode..
3. Make sure to collect all of your rewards. Log-on bonuses are given immediately, as are
rewards upon leveling up. However, if you complete missions for Season tiers, or event
missions, you'll need to go to the appropriate area to 'turn in' the missions for the
rewards. The season and event pages are on the Main menu, so you can click on any
button with a ! and start claiming the rewards.
4. You don't need the Premium Pass to collect season rewards. When moving up in tiers
throughout the season, you get rewards for each rank. The Premium Pass only rewards
extra rewards for the ranks--you'll still get free rewards for ranking up without it.
5. Character skins are just that--skins. One skin doesn't offer a unique benefit over another
skin. They're purely cosmetic.
6. You can go prone. Having trouble with players sniping you? You can go prone by holding
the crouch button. Just make sure you're in a safe place!
7. There are multiple Multiplayer modes. Even beyond Battle Royale, there are multiple
multiplayer modes to choose from. You can choose between a point-based victory,
trying to defend a spot on the map, and even AI match in Deathmatch mode.
8. You can shoot underwater. In Battle Royale, you may end up underwater for some
reason or another. Thankfully, you can shoot underwater if you need to.
9. Eventually, you can participate in Ranked matches. When you hit level 10, you can play
ranked matches.
Call of Duty: Mobile Maps
Right now, there are five maps available in Call of Duty: Mobile. They are:
Crash - Original appearance: Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare

Crossfire - Original appearance: Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare

Hijacked - Original appearance: Call of Duty: Black Ops

Killhouse - Original appearance: Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare

Nuketown - Original appearance: Call of Duty: Black Ops

Most of these maps have a central area you'll be fighting in, with a few sidepaths for players to
go down to avoid most of the gunfire. Each map also has places where snipers can perch for
kills, but some maps (like Killhouse and Crossfire) are better than snipers than others.
Call of Duty: Mobile Operator Skills
Operator Skills are special moves you can occasionally use. You'll start with the Purifier,
but you'll gain more as you level up in Call of Duty: Mobile. Each Operator Skill has its own
uses and range, so it's important to have an Operator Skill that works with the Primary
Weapon you chose. It's not helpful to have the flamethrower equipped when you're using
a sniper rifle, for example.

There are currently five Operator Skills to choose from, with a sixth that is coming soon.
You'll unlock these skills as you level up.
• Purifier

Unlocked at Level 4.
Purifer is a flamethrower that blasts flames at a close range. It has high damage potential,
but its low range makes it hard to use.

• Scythe

Unlocked at Level 15.

Scythe is a mini-gun that increases its accuracy over time. It's better for longer range and
most deadly near the end of its skill usage.
• War Machine

Unlocked at Level 26.

War Machine is a grenade launcher. Grenades deal explosive damage and are great
for luring hostiles out of a safe zone.

• Tempest

Unlocked at Level 35.

Tempest lets you hold the fire button to build up power, then send a bolt of
lightning through the field at your target. This can hit up to nine enemies, provided
they're close enough to each other.
Transform Shield

Unlocked at Level 50.

The Transform Shield puts up a shield, as you'd expect. This provides extra cover for your
allies so they can move into enemy ground.

Sparrow

Sparrow is not currently available, but it will be coming soon.

Sparrow shoots powerful arrows, and the longer you hold down the draw button, the
longer range you'll have.
Call of Duty: Mobile Perks
Perks are unlocked in Call of Duty: Mobile as you level up, and they offer passive benefits
in Multiplayer. Perks are separated into three color categories: Red, Green, and Blue. You'll
be able to equip one perk of each color when you hit level 12. Perks are only used in
Multiplayer, and are absent in Battle Royale.

We explain what each perk does, as well as what level it unlocks, below.
Red Perks

Red Perks are the first set of perks you'll be able to unlock, and you'll unlock the first Red
Perk at level 4.

doubled (Level 14)

• Cold-Blooded - Cannot be targeted by AI-controlled Scorestreaks (Level 32)
• Hard Wired - Immune to Counter-UAVs and EMP Grenades, and you won't
trigger Land Minds. In addition, it reduces the enemy's Tracker perk
effectiveness (Level 41)
• Ghost - Enemy UAVs cannot reveal your position (Level 47)
Blue Perks

Blue Perks will be the last category of perks to unlock. You'll get your first Blue Perk at level 12.
▪ Hardline - Increases points earned with kills by 25% (Level 12)
▪ Demo Expert - Increases the damage of explosive by 25% (Level 20)
▪ Dead Silence - Provides silent movement (Level 20)
▪ Engineer - Shows equipment and scorestreaks. In addition, lets you re-roll care packages
and booby trap enemy care packages. (Level 37)
▪ Tactical Mask - Reduces the duration of tactical equipment effects by 40% (Level 43)
▪ Alert - Enemy footsteps are easier to hear (Level 51)
Call of Duty: Mobile Weapons List
As expected of a shooter, Call of Duty: Mobile has a plethora of different weapons to
choose from. You can level all of these weapons up and attach various parts to them,
and you'll need to pick the weapons that best match your play style.
Primary Weapons
This will be your main weapon in Multiplayer and Battle Royale matches. In
Multiplayer, you'll be able to customize your loadout, but in Battle Royale you'll need
to find your weapon. Primary weapons are the most extensive category in Call of Duty
Mobile, with five different categories of guns unlocked as you level up.
Secondary Weapons
In Multiplayer, this will include items like knifes and pistols, and they'll mainly be used
when you're out of primary ammo. In Battle Royale, a Secondary Weapon can just be
another Primary Weapon you picked up--it's just the weapon you're not currently
shooting with.
Lethal and Tactical Weapons
Lethal Weapons are grenades and mines, while Tactical Weapons are non-lethal, but
offer other benefits. These are sub-weapons that have a few uses available during
matches to help turn the tides.
Call of Duty: Mobile Best Guns
While your favorite gun will depend on your playstyle, it's clear that as you
level up, you'll get better guns to use, and that some guns are flat out
better than others in their own category.

Best Assault Rifle: M16 - The M16 boasts high stats and a decent accuracy
rate, making it one of the best guns for those who want to take a well-
rounded approach.
Best Sniper Rifle: DL Q33 - Ironically enough, the first sniper rifle you get is
the best one for the job. The DL Q33 offers great damage and mobility. It
has a poor firing rate, but as a sniper you should be aiming for the head
anyway.
Best SMG: Chicom - The Chicom boasts overall stats for the SMG class,
besides a low range. But if you're using an SMG, you should be trying to
get close to the enemy, anyway.
Best LMG: UL736 - What makes the UL736 stand out from the S36 is the
amazing attachments it gets, by far making this the best LMG currently
available.
Best Shotgun: Striker - The Striker has a better firing rate than most
shotguns, so you're able to fire twice before a situation can get dicey. This
is a big deal for opponents that may not go down in a hit.
Best Secondary Weapon: J358 - Your secondary weapon may need to
change depending on the situation, but this pistol is your most well-
rounded Secondary Weapon.
Call of Duty: Mobile represents the best juggernaut
franchise that has ever been on a handheld
platform. The leveling path is rewarding, even
without spending money, and there are lots of
modes to jump around between, including an
impressive battle royale mode. Use this guide
while playing to reach the highest score.
