    ENVIRONMENT CLUB

    MCE ENVIRONMENTAL AUDIT 2023


    Over the past few weeks, the Environment Club has been busy
    undertaking an environmental audit at MCE. The data collected
    from this audit will serve to inform future planning of initiatives
    and identify areas in which we can improve as a school
    community. The overarching goal of the Environment Club is to
    serve young people in gaining knowledge, skills and positive
    attitudes towards the environment.

    RESULTS KEY FOCUS AREAS


    Biodiversity
    Understanding and enhancing the
    environment by identifying local species
    and conserving their homes.

    Energy
    Understand how we can
    improve carbon impact
    through smart energy
    choices.

    Waste
    Identify positive ways to
    improve and evolve the
    school’s relationship with
    materials and waste.
    Global Citizens
    Positively impact local and
    global communities by
    making changes to existing
    systems.
