Importance Of Yoga And Meditation: Yoga is a mental, spiritual and physical practice that
helps one attain inner peace. In today’s hectic world, more and more people are becoming
health conscious. In recent years Yoga has gained immense popularity not only in India but
also abroad. Today, people can choose to either learn Yoga or pursue a career in Yoga. A Yoga
instructor can be one of the most rewarding careers.
• Open monitoring: Rather than one focus of concentration, these approaches encourage people
to pay attention more broadly, noting what is happening with their thoughts, images, emotions,
sensations, etc. Vipassana meditation, which informed the development of Mindfulness Based
Stress Reduction (MBSR), is an example.

WEEKLY REPORT
WEEK-2
➢ After knowing the knowledge about yoga, we decided to have a practical
experience about that for that we have visited a yoga centre, which is
located at Sanjay Gandhi Nagar.
➢ We determined to train up in that yoga centre under of coach named V.
Adi Narayana.
➢ The session began by the seeking the blessings of the Almighty by chanting
the Gayatri mantra.
➢ Asanas starting with warmup and stretching were followed by series of
Padmasana, Sukhasana, Tadasana, Bhujangasana and ending with
Shavasana.
➢ Exercises for relieving stress, reducing joint pain and enhancing the
flexibility of the back were also done.
➢ The session concluded with an interactive session between the coach and
us. The session was very refreshing, reviving and relaxing.
➢ We gained lot of experience in practicing yoga and meditation.

In third week, we visited a school named Lemon tree international preschool, RDO
Office, Bv Nagar, Nellore. We took the permission from the principal of the school. Yoga for
children is a form of modern yoga designed for children. It includes poses to increase strength,
flexibillity, and coordination. The practical session began with an introduction to yoga and its
awareness. We physically demonstrated many asanas and physical exercises to keep a strong
and healthy body.
Health related concerns have risen in the nation observing past two years
because if pandemic. Now, everyone is thriving for a healthy lifesytle adpoting exercising and
yoga in their daily routine. According to the statistical survey 25% of the children are
undergoing obesity. The aim of this assignment is to create awareness amongst the small parts
of society about the importance of practicing yoga on daily basis and making their lifestyle
healthier. We ended the sessio by thanking the management for their cooperation.

CONCLUSION:
We came to a conclusion that most of the people are aware of yoga and the people who are
aware of yoga were not able to practice yoga due to lack of time and laziness.
