Masters in Renewable Energy and E-mobility at Stralsund University of Applied Sciences

Letter of Motivation
Dear Sir,
I have completed Bachelor of Science in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from American
International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) having very sound academic background on Electrical
machines, Control System, Matrices, Vectors and Fourier analysis, Complex Variable, Laplace & Z-
transformation, Electrical circuit, Digital Signal Processing, Measurement and instrumentation, Electrical
System, Power electronics and Distribution System, Engineering Mathematics, Microprocessor and
Interface, Telecommunication System, Digital Logic Design, Circuit & Systems.

I have participated a workshop on ‘Antenna Designing & Simulation Techniques Using CST
Microwave Studio Suite’ jointly organized by IEEE AIUB SB and EEE Dept. of AIUB. In order to
increase empirical, knowledge about these filed, I did several projects also. I did a thesis on “Ingestible
Antenna at Inner-Wall of Capsule for Capsule Endoscopy” in my final year, which is already published
in February 2019 in an IEEE conference. The main theme of my final year thesis was to design a
microstrip patch antenna which should be very small in size and can operate withinthe MICS band with an
omnidirectional radiation pattern and which can be placed on the inner wall of a capsule that is suitable
for capsule endoscopy. It was little bit challenging to design and fabricate such a miniature antenna. At
present, I have been working in a company named “DataPro Solution” as a Service Engineer. I did a
good number of projects during my bachelor period with addition of project named as Impact
Assessment of Electric Vehicle Adoption on the Power Grid. My undergraduate studies at American
International University-Bangladesh not only gave me a certain skill set but also made me to further
explore my field of interest and hone my academic strengths. Therefore, all of the circumstances
mentioned above influenced me to involve myself in a higher study in the field of sustainable and
renewable energy engineering and therefore, have found that “Renewable Energy and E-Mobility”
program is suitable for me.

Therefore, I have chosen the Master’s program of “Renewable Energy and E-Mobility" at the Stralsund
University of Applied Sciences due to some specific reasons. The Master's program of study is chosen
because of its closely related to my previous study, make me specialized in this field of study, enlarge my
academic & professional career also will help me to proceed for further study on this field.

I believe that, I will be able to make the contributions on this field of study which I have chosen by
research activities and gathering knowledge through practical works & studies. I also believe, this
master's program of study at the Stralsund University of Applied Sciences will serve my purpose and I
can establish a connection of sharing and gathering knowledge with some genius minds.

I have chosen Germany to study because German Universities has very strong reputation on engineering
and research from very long ago and the curriculum of education offered by Stralsund University of
Applied Sciences is better and acknowledged throughout the whole world. Standard lab facilities,
excellent teaching staff as well as better educational environment are also attracting me.

I believe that, my decision to pursue this that the Master’s from your University will not only impart a
sound education in latest technologies, but will also push me ahead in the computing world and with its
reputed faculty, excellent facilities and tradition of academic excellence will be the ideal place to work
towards the fulfillment of my goal. The knowledge, skills and experiences I will be gained through such
dynamic program would bring newer insights in my future professional career, personal outlook on life &
society and controlling of environment in today’s globalized world.
