1.0 PURPOSE / SCOPE
This methodology is made for smooth coordination between every person related to our work
order for execution and installation of façade work. It represents to our clarity in management in
material movement to safe execution at site.

2.0 WORK ACTIVITY LOCATION / SPECIALISED WORK HOURS

Site work will start at 9am to 6pm having a lunch time on hour in between and may continue up
to 9pm/ overnight depending upon the work load and priority. Generally We have weekly off on
Sunday but may continue some work depend upon the work load. We generally keep site off for
festival and national holidays as per the state/central Govt. laws.

3.0 PROGRAMME/SCHEDULE

The job will be dealt with, in agreed phases and periods.

After receiving the final approval of working drawing with size, fabrication will Commence.
Fixing periods are based upon unimpeded and continuous access to work.

All information is given in good faith and is based on information available on date.

4.0 METHOD & SEQUENCE OF WORKS

All the materials will be fabricated in our own works, under the supervision of skilled, experienced
and technically competent Managers, phased to suit the agreed program, and delivered at site.

Materials are packed such that damage in transit and on site is avoided. All material will be marked
so that their contents and location can be identified at site.

Glazed panels will be identified as to the content and location on site.

Certain specialist items will be purchased from the supplier, and usually delivered at site.

Taping / Lacquer coating to the exposed aluminum surfaces is included in the rates.
Work generally will be dealt in sections or elevations as per the agreed program.

We will require datum levels and grid lines to be established prominently marked on the floor and
structure at each side of the structural glazing.

4.1 Delivery, Storage and Handling

Aluminium materials will come to site with duly powdercoated/ anodized and will be stored in a
confined godown. Glasses will come with duly processed( toughened/Heat strengthened) in exact
size and shape and will be stored in a safer place where less activity and mobility of man/materials
occurs. These glasses will be glazed to panel frame later on.
4.2 General Requirements and Preparations

Once a project is entrusted to us, we study, evaluate and form a task force to depute to that site.
The Engineer – In – Charge walks in with a team of competent and experienced engineers to
ensure smooth progress of the project. Progress of each work is monitored daily at Director’s level.

4.3 INSTALLATION

4.3.1 Survey

Our expert team will survey the site readiness and counter check the plumb,level as well as site
measurements with respect to approved drawings. If any variances are found the same will be
informed to project team / our design team. Our work will commence after verification of all
approved drawings and site condition.

4.3.2 Area Handovers

We will handover with complete glass installation and cleaning in bay wise/ area wise/ elevation
wise/ floor wise according to mutual understanding with client. After completion we are not
responsible for any damage/ breakage to the glass/system by any person/agency.

4.3.3 Installation Sequence (steps of work)

After scaffolding errection, Aluminium grid work is assembled and installed with proper plumb &
level. Panel frames are glazed in a confined area with structural silicone and kept for curing 7days.
After glass panels properly cured then it is ready for installation.

4.3.4 Glass - Installation Procedure (how to install add how to access, equipment used etc.. )

Cured Glass panels are lifted to its place by manually/crane and fixed to the aluminium grid with
help of mechanical fixture. After completion of all glass panels glass panels are cleaned and
scaffolding is dismantled.

6.0 PERMANENT MATERIALS AND CONSUMABLES (details of materials used)

Following materials are used permanently.

1. Aluminium as per requirement. Wastage and extra aluminiums will be taken back after
completion of work.
2. Glass as per requirement. Wastage and extra Glasses will be taken back after completion of
work.
3. Hardware as per requirement. Extra Hardware will be taken back after completion of work.
4. Sillicone/spacer tape as per requirement. Extra Sillicone and Spacertape will be taken back
after completion of work.

7.0 PLANT/EQUIPMENT/TOOLS (details of tools equipment used eg. scaffolding drill


machine, lifting equipment, hand tools etc..)

Following equipments which will be used during execution and will be taken back during/after
completion of work.

1. Drill machine/hammer machine


2. Equipments like hammer/ plumb/screwdriver/marker/electrical equipments/cutting
equipments/compressor/ all materials related to scaffolding/ hoist equipments will be used.

8.0 RISK ASSESSMENT and JOB SAFETY ANALYSIS (if you want i can help you with this)

We are fully committed to provide a safe working environment to our staff and at work sites.
Implementation of safety measures are kept under close watch at every stage.

In addition, an environment is created which is conducive to exchange ideas and suggestions


regarding productivity, quality and safety related issues. In short our endeavor is to obtain a zero
accident rate.
And if any accident happens at site during the work, then we have WC policy.
9.0 INSPECTION AND TESTING

We employ drawing office, production and inspection department and all their functions are
integrated, to ensure that our finished work, is fully compatible, with the agreed design standard.

Full liaison is maintained with our fixing management and site operators, to ensure that the required
design and performance standards, are maintained at site.

Necessary quality assurance manual will be prepared for the project.

10.0 CLEANING AND HAND OVER

Each section of the work will be handed over to the client as & when it is completed, inspected and
accepted.

In the event that cleaning is required at some later stage in the contract, where the same is not
identified and included in our price, then scaffolding or safe and suitable access must be provided
for us free of charge, unless it is clear from our quotation, that the provision of such access is our
responsibility.

11.0 REPLACEMENT OF MATERIAL

Our tender does not include any allowance for any client’s spares after contract completion.

12.0 PERFORMANCE GUARANTEE

The Performance Guarantee of materials such as silicon will be as issued as per their norms by
respective manufacturer to fulfill desired quality standard. The Guarantees will be in the form of
back to back from the manufacturers of various components.

13.0 GUARANTEE

A Primary guarantee: The curtain walling system and its installation against faults and omission
design, materials, workmanship and functional performance including water tightness and air
tightness of the various elements and components for the period of three years from completion.

A Supplementary guarantee: All joint seals and bonding shall be warranted by sealant
manufacturer.

14.0 CONCLUSION

In short we want to deliver the project on time and without over running the cost. We never
compromise with quality of material and finishes. We pay high respect to Customers, Clients,
Consultants, Architects and their commands. Execution is carried out to the utmost satisfaction of
the client.
