    CLARIFICATIONS

    1. The paragraph 8 and 9 were in a factual conflict regarding the judgement of the High Court, the same
    has been amended to give a clearer meaning on the same. Please find the attachments.

    2. Kindly take a note that the Supreme Court of Indica is sitting en-banc for the purposes of the present
    moot court competition and the laws of Indica are Mutatis Mutandis of the laws of India.

    3. It is pertinent to note that, the Section 124-A of the IPC stands as it is in the laws of Indica. The
    Judgement of Indian Supreme Court, in the case of S.G. Vombatkere v. Union of India doesn't affect the
    present moot problem.

    4. The participants need to adhere to the 3 issues that have been provided in the moot problem. The
    participants are not allowed to frame additional issues on their own.

    5. The date of the submission of the memorials (soft copies) is Saturday, 13th May 2023 latest by IST 11
    PM.

    6. The updated date of the submission of the (hard copies) of the memorials shall be Monday, 15th May
    2023. The memorials shall be submitted to Ms. Astha Singh in the MCS Admin Room, 1st Floor, Lloyd
    School of Law. The Memorials shall be kept in a single folder comprising 4 copies of the Memorandum
    on Behalf of the Petitioner and 4 copies of Memorandum on Behalf of the respondent each. Total 8 copies
    and each copy should be properly binded or kept in a while. Those copies will be presented to the judges
    during the competition. The folder shall be labeled with the names of the participants. It is pertinent to
    note that the memorials shall be printed only on one side of a page and duplex printing is prohibited.

    7. Kindly note, that the submission of hard copies of memorials shall confirm the final registration of the
    team. The goggle form is only provisional registration of the participants. If any team fails to submit the
    hard copy within the stipulated time, then they shall not be considered for the fixtures of the oral rounds.
