PID Controller
2 Analog flow control Valve
3 Connecting Wires

Theory:
A control valve is a valve used to control fluid flow by varying the size of the flow passage as directed by
a signal from a controller. This enables the direct control of flow rate and the consequential control of
process quantities such as pressure, temperature, and liquid level. A flow control valve regulates the flow
or pressure of a fluid. Control valves normally respond to signals generated by independent devices such
as flow meters or temperature gauges.
Control Valves: A Control Valve is a power-operated device used to modify the fluid flow rate in a
process system. There are two basic types of control valves Control Valve a) Rotary motion valves having
ball, butterfly or plug type closures. b) Linear motion valves having globe, diaphragm or pinch type
closures.

Structure: Ball
Power: Motorized
Above control ball valve is motor-operated by a type of WRA3-S series actuator. The actuator is controlled
by a modulating on/off , 3-point or proportional control system and move the ball of the valve, to the opening
position dictated by the control signal. The standard product is 0-10VDC proportional control.
