Making the process the art work

Theme: A cinema architure project to showcase

artwork.

Zaha Hadid incorporate painting to showcase the

experience of the spaces.

Personal connection with project:

1. Cresent Mall

- Daily route of jogging through the place.

- The area evoke this sense of urban, of
development, of Chicago and New York. It is like in the
Dark Knight of Nolan, its feel like that movie.
- Everything is glorious and drown in this bright
light, especially the Star Bridge.

2. Elevation of the artform of cinema

When I was a kid, my parents forbid me from watching

movies and tv. I was not allowed to go to the cinema
theater, not until I can go to the theater by myself.
When my parents are out of the house, I can watch tv,
but I always have to turn the channel back to the
channel that my father watch before that, so he
wouldnt know that I have watch tv while he was away. location scouting PHU MY HUNG - CRESCENT MALL
My father has never been a fan of movies, even certain
vietnamese film that all the old people watch, he never
like that. So thats why i want to create this place that
celebrate cinema and movies and films, from all kind.

Classy, celebrate but not flashy

REFLECTION
This assignment has been a transformative experience for me, encompassing several key areas of growth
and personal connection.

Firstly, I have made significant strides in improving my time management skills throughout the duration of
the project. While it may not be flawless yet, I am proud of my ability to effectively handle the various tasks
within the given timeframe.

What I found particularly gratifying about this assignment was the way my initial idea evolved and unfold-
ed into something truly unique. Drawing inspiration from architectural sketches, I recontextualized them
into captivating artworks that stood on their own. It was a liberating and exciting experience, allowing me
to tap into my creative instincts and think outside the box. Witnessing the transformation of these sketches
was immensely rewarding and contributed to the overall success of the project.

Furthermore, the final outcome of the artwork surpassed my expectations. I took great pride in creating
something that truly resonated with me. The artwork became a testament to the personal connections and
emotions I wanted to convey. Drawing on the story of my father and my own experiences with cinema, I
infused the artwork with a profound narrative that spoke to my own journey. This personal touch added
depth and authenticity, elevating the project beyond a mere creative endeavor.

In retrospect, this assignment has provided me with invaluable lessons and insights. I have grown not
only in terms of time management but also in my ability to infuse personal stories and themes into my
artwork. It has reinforced the significance of effective time management and the power of recontextualiza-
tion to create something truly unique. Moreover, it has highlighted the ability of art to convey personal
narratives and evoke emotions that resonate deeply with both the artist and the audience.

Overall, this assignment has been a significant milestone in my artistic journey. It has taught me the
importance of effective time management, the ability to think creatively, and the value of infusing personal
experiences into my work. I am excited to carry these lessons forward and continue exploring new ave-
nues of creativity in future projects.
