Accepted value of g = 9.80665 m/s 2

5.5834/9.80665 = 0.569
0.569 x 100 = 57% off the accepted value of g

Looking at the graph there doesn’t appear to be any major outliers. However the
data values suggest a line of best fit that does not pass through (0,0) which suggests
there was a systematic error in our expermient. The line of best fit should pass
through (0,0) because when M=m then the system would be in static equilibrium
so a=0. Therefore (M+m)*0 = 0 and (M-m) = 0.
